Ivory Moss has lovely shading, but the red eyes are not working for me; too bright for the soft body colors for my eyes to rest on comfortably.
Maybe some of the winners will post in-hand photos that change my mind. 🙂 Best of luck to the bidders!
It looks like a hybrid of the “Moss” and “Spring Bud” test paints, both of which I liked. (Especially Spring Bud… Hey, WE team, I have a great idea for a Limited Production release next spring… haha!) 🙂

What an amazing collection of Spectrals, Etruscan! They’re incredible, especially all grouped together like that.
‘Bronze Tiger’ is a really interesting color! I love the patterning on your Gold, too – makes me think of caramel and chocolate. 🙂

I would love a Pebble Cat in a Cougar-like pose, i.e. with front legs stretched out in front of him! That’s how my older kitty sits whenever he’s cozy, and I would adore it if we had a sculpt like that. (Then I’d have to squeak for a grab bag of Classic Tabbies on that sculpt…) 🙂 The ‘twisty kitty’ in Angelika_Zen’s post would make a cute Pebble, too.
Would definitely not say no to some new colors on the Mouse Wizard, either. Silver, Gold, BVP, Blue Morpho, Violet Flame, Black Sunset… there are lots of ‘regular’ colors that he’d look handsome in, without even bringing in test colors.

Oh, man, I will definitely join you in squeaking for restocking of the ‘Cool Colors’ dragon candlelamp, Angelika_Zen! I loved that piece when it came out, but never managed to get one. If we got a restock sometime in the new year, that would be awesome!

I have to add my frustration with the recaptcha here, I guess. I’m not having as many problems as some people, but the has to be an easier and less finicky way! I have used other sites where the Captcha is a simple question, e.g. ‘What is 2*3’ or ‘If today is Tuesday, what day is tomorrow?’ These types of Captcha load a lot faster, since they don’t need images, and as a bonus they are easier for vision-impaired users (or other assistive-software users) to handle… Might be worth looking into?

We adopted her in 2014 from a local shelter; she was 8 months old at the time, and had been adopted as a puppy but returned to the shelter a few months later.
She’s the smartest dog we have ever had; she practically speaks English, she knows so many different versions of commands (and can interpret gestures so well). I’ve seen lots of PYO wolves done as dog portraits, and I thought about it, but the kitsune seemed to suit her better. She’s a small dog, only 24 lbs, so she’s much more fox-sized than wolf-sized; she has the pointy little face of a fox, and the mischief, too! (Did I mention she was smart? Sometimes she’s *too* smart… as in, she can figure out things you really don’t want her to figure out, like how to open the clothes hamper and the trash can.)

My collection currently sits at 145 pieces, so I apparently have a way to go before I can compete with some of the other collectors here! How do you guys have the space for >200 pieces? Of course, it probably doesn’t help that my favourite sculpts are on the large size, like Emperors and Old Warriors.
Haha, Bullsquid, you and I have the same problem! All my favorite dragons are large ones – Laps, Old Warriors, Emperors, Scratchers, Males, and the griffin pair are probably my top picks, though there are a few smaller sculpts I adore, too, such as the Sitting Red Fox and Cougar Pebbles.
Gotta envy people whose faves are baby Poads, or hatching dragons, or other more reasonably-sized-for-hoarding sculpts… They probably worry a lot less about the structural integrity of their shelves and walls. 🙂

Oh, he is very beautiful! I love the Cosmic Shift pieces, too, but couldn’t afford them when they came out (and other things were also tempting me), so I’m very happy that this one ended up with a forum member and we all get to enjoy photos. 🙂
I’m delighted you want to take him to work, too. I have a Work Windstone, and I bet a few other people here do, as well. 🙂 Mine’s an Old Green male without a mate; I figured while he was single he might as well come along and hold up some binders on my desk.

The only things to ship in a padded envelope are beans and tads. I’ve had them come from the store that way, too.
This was exactly what I was thinking! It would work for something small – I have actually had a seller send me a ceramic bonsai pot in an envelope! – but isn’t the cat in the auction about the size of a tennis ball? That is not going to fit in an envelope with enough padding to protect it.

I didn’t know how many I had, either! I had to open a blank spreadsheet and try to list them all by memory. I know I missed one or two, but the count I got (and put on the survey) was 80. I wanted to specify a non-PYO number, too, but the survey wouldn’t let me.
My answer to the ‘other merchandise’ question was embroidered patches! The poad patches were cute, and I’d kill for a patch of the Windstone logo with Snerl, with or without text. I have a tote bag covered in geeky patches, and a WE patch would crown the collection! 🙂

This was fun! Like everyone else, I had a hard time calculating how many Windstones I own… had to open up a spreadsheet and make a quick list of sculpt/color to get an idea of the total! And of course the next day I realize I missed at least one. (I always wobble a little over whether PYOs should be counted, too; they’re sort of a different thing, especially when considering questions like “what drives you to collect Windstones.”)
I hope the class has a lot of fun – and maybe some head-scratching moments! – sorting through all of our data! 🙂 I’d love to see some of the trends or spreads they get from the collected responses.
