What a beautiful tanuki. <3 That’s one of my favorite GB “styles,” and I hope Melody does some other Pebble grab bags to match, someday! I might faint if we got Cougars to match. 🙂

I’m still squeaking for Oriental Moon dragons in Peacock… my little family of three would like to expand!
I also squeak for a production version of “Stormscale” or “Nightcrawler,” because I’d love a Lap plus a Male or Scratcher to round out my blue dragon collection.
(Can we squeak for technically retired things, too? If so, then please, Melody, could we have a small batch of White Secret Keepers? I know there are a couple of collectors looking for them in the Classifieds, and I’d like one myself someday, too; it’s one of very few White pieces I’m missing!)

I’m hoping that we’ll one day get production Qilins in a silver/white/blue color scheme; they would look so good with my Peacock Oriental family!

I love all the new colors Gina has done. We have had Blue Morpho though, so I’m squeaking for the red color. There hasn’t been a red production color in a while. Carnelian would work too.
I still want the blues most, but good point about Carnelian! If I recall correctly, it’s an orange-toned red, wcich would be wonderfully unique – we’ve never had an orange Production dragon color before, and it would be a great addition to my conga. 😉

I’ll just go ahead and throw my squeak for production versions of the two new blue test colors Gina created – the blue/white, and the blue/black/white (names to be determined)!
I would absolutely buy some dragons and griffins in both colors; they’re fantastic and I’m sure the Ebay auctions will soar way out of my price range, so squeaking for a production option it is. (I’ll be bidding hard, though, just in case!)

I think the blue & white ones should be called “Blue Mushroom.” 🙂 The pale, creamy undersides of them remind me of a mushroom’s gills beneath the colorful cap!
I absolutely adore the ‘blue mushroom’ AND the ‘blue terracotta’ ones, and will definitely be squeaking for production versions of both! I’d buy a Lap in each one, and probably an Old Warrior, too. And griffins as well!

I don’t remember if I ever put it in the squeak thread but something like pyo pebble dogs would be nice, especially if there was an ear up version and an ear down one to help cover a good number of common and popular breeds.
I don’t know how well canine sculpts sell so it may not end up being worth the investment to make compared to popular fantasy creatures.Heh – that reminded me of the joke I make all the time at work! I work in animal rescue, and often joke that there are only two kinds of rescue dogs: If the ears point downward, it’s a Lab mix; if the ears point upward, it’s a Shepherd mix! 🙂
Go on Petfinder and search for ‘Lab’ and you’ll find 999 “Lab Mix” dogs, ranging in size from 20 lbs to 200 lbs, and in color everywhere from solid black to white with polka dots! And the same for “Shepherd.” 🙂 So I think having an ‘ears-down’ and ‘ears-up’ dog sculpt would definitely cover a lot of ground! But I’m also fine with the dogs Melody has already given us; between the dogs, wolves, and foxes, we have quite a lot of canid representation, really. <3
(Unless Melody wants to make a Greyhound. Then it’s full steam ahead; I’d be all over that! I have a gorgeous one from another company, Country Artists, but they’re apparently not producing them anymore and I want a bunch so I can customize them!)

What is the body color?
Sorry, I missed this question! For the scales, I used a Liquitex pearl white paint over a white acrylic basecoat. Then I used a very dilute wash of the Burnt Sienna to ‘antique’ the creases and give it some depth.
The Liquitex pearl white is a hint… cooler? greyer? than the factory color, I do remember noting that! But I decided it was close enough that I decided against tinkering with it; from normal viewing distance (i.e., NOT with your nose three inches from the piece as you’re painting it!) there’s not enough difference to make it worthwhile.

The alcohol inks give such a cool effect! Too bad about the scene you had planned, but I feel sure you’ll do a great job with the fantasy pinto, too. Those colors look great on him!
