Stuck a few things up on ebay for sheets n’ giggles.

I rarely sell art this way, since it hardly ever works for me, but it’s worth another shot, I reckon.
Thanks! I’ll have to find a clean sponge and give it a go.

Where did the tutorial go for that, anyway? I looked for it, but the link is broken. I might give it a shot if I can find that reading material.
Heh, I tried to go without it, but her wings where like Whoa! and the rest of her just kind of faded into the background, so gloss coat it was, though it is growing on me.
Or, first PYO all together.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/rusti_knight/windstonerus1.jpgI’m sort of disappointed that I couldn’t get the silver ‘frost’ on the top half of her wing feathers to show as more than an ‘extra shiny’ shadow in the photo. I’ll have to play around with some lighting to see if I can make it work.
Anywho, first PYO for me, went smoothly, and I rather like her.
ETA: I went back and antiqued her like some of you suggested, and I have to admit, I’m sold. It did absolute wonders for her! She’s painted after a rather personal characterization, so I’m torn as to whether or not to ebay her, but here she is anyway!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/rusti_knight/pyowolf1.jpgI really wanted a peacock one, but can’t afford the cost of the ones I see on ebay from time to time at the moment. Though I must admit, the red is growing on me more and more.
He’ll have a spot between Lightning McQueen and a generic german shepherd figure.
Yeah, I was the other one, just sent my down payment yesterday. A school-time job at Penney’s means layaway for the tuitionally disadvantaged.
He’ll be my first one, if the PYO wolves don’t count.
Erm, me?
…original work.
I hate to do two plugs without something with substance in between, but I’ve a tuition bill hanging over my head (not to mention the credit card bill, doctor bills, and all that other monthly ‘living on your own’ stuff) and I’m more than open for commissions at the moment!
I know things are a bit tight with Christmas in a week and all, but I wanted to throw this out there. I can do just about anything except TransFormers-like mechs. Terms and Conditions are on my website.
Thanks guys.
Thanks. 🙂 It’s definately there all year ’round now that the site is up!
It’s that time of year (not to mention the fact that I’m always poor, but that’s beside the point. 😛 ) and I’m plugging prints, commissions and some original art I’ve got up for sale.
Check out Steel Wolf Graphix to see what I’ve got up, and what my terms for commissions are. It’s a bit close to christmas for me to do anything huge, commission-wise, but if you wanted to order one, I could get you a preview sketch by then, at least.
Otherwise, consider it an art plug and enjoy![/url]

(Certainly I’ve never been able to.)
Yeah, I’d noticed at least one post like that in the past couple of months. Here in a week or so, however, I’ll be able to do custom stuff. School’s on vacation til mid-january after I turn in my portfolios.
I dunno, we’ll see.
Are you volunteering? 😉
Visit my website and start buying art, and then we’ll talk. 😉 I don’t even have $100 to spare at the moment.
A new truck, however, is still priority, since my trusty little 95 ranger won’t last forever.
But yes, when I do have income, and decide if I want something, that’s probably how it’ll work!
I bought a couple of PYO wolves, but that’s the extent of it. I already have a balance on my credit card, and my meager 20 hours a week at 6.75 an hour doesn’t go far towards bills.
Perhaps after I find a better job/graduate and make the bucks doing design, then I’ll compete with you all.
