The payment methods says the seller accepts checks and money orders, but would you be able to write a personal check here in the states and send to Canada?

Edit: just noticed this fellow ain’t keen on shipping outside of Canada since it’s their only option in shipping locations. Good luck to them, I say.

How are you guys patient enough to go find these listings that are mislabeled? 😛

        Okay, lemme amend that:

As an experienced ebayer, I would not bid on an auction where the seller has no feedback, does not accept paypal, overcharges for shipping and requests a Western union payment when questioned.

        Howzat?

Eh, he probably won’t be, if the seller doesn’t accept paypal, has no feedback and wants the buyer’s full address for shipping cost, and is asking $10 to insure.

*I* wouldn’t bid, even if it was a deal.

Now, if only I had real money instead of the plastic kind that gets you into trouble. And if the wolves had a few more eyecolor choices…

I just did the same thing last month, with emerald too.

Say, Collector, what part of Illinois are you from? I just glanced at your avatar. 😛

Well, I was going to suggest a lavender corn snake, but I see you’ve already begun painting.

AAACCK!!!! I’m not scared of ticks but I do loath them!!! We get tons of them around here in the summer!

Hee! But do you dance around and wail at someone to ‘get it off!’ instead of picking the tick off yourself?

I’d have to disagree… there are a couple of notable cases I can think of where the movie was better.

The Green Mile (film) has a better ending than the book – less depressing. And knowing how sad the ending of the film is… that’s saying something.

I personally think Eragon (the film) is better than the book… because I’m STILL trying to drag myself through the book. Yes, the film missed out a lot. Darn good thing, too.

Forrest Gump (film) was better than the book; that said, I wish they hadn’t misquoted the “box of chocolates” line. The original quote was:

                        Quote:

Life ain’t a box of chocolates.

                        Gump’s momma was a pessimist.

The dramatic timing in Harry Potter 1 and 2 (films) was better than in the books – as though she’d gone back and thought “yes, this scene works better if we put it HERE instead” – particularly the scene where Harry defeats Riddle’s spirit in #2.

But on the other hand… I’m not sure I’m looking forward to Wee Free Men.

Forrest Gump the movie was definately better than the book. The book was kind of mean spirited if you ask me and didn’t have nearly the same feel as the movie.

Heh, we had a shiba at the vet clinic where I used to work that would board with us quite often. He had the same, round, squishy face and was the biggest lover.

Good job on the wolf too!

Thanks. I could use a little extra cash, and since this was fun and I have no more ideas at the moment, I’d see if I could get a commission for one.

                            We’ll see what happens!

The reason I ask is because I am interested, but the most I have to offer is a commission (i.e. I’ll draw you something in return, worth what the dragon cost you), unless you want some Knight Rider DVDs. ;P

Edit: Or I’ve got an unpainted PYO Wolf that I might either turn over unpainted, or paint for you.
