I imagine at $360 ea. they won’t fly off the shelf (So to say) as some of the past GB batches have (I’ve also noticed GB’s have been staying in the store a lot longer lately – except those Gothics, lmao, I accidentally took a nap and they were gone by the time I woke up and saw they went into the shop, lmao)… I’ve always wanted a GB young and I ADORE that Zebra/Feathered one in the front row of the first photo, but sadly, as before mentioned, it’s hard enough to think of putting that price down on my top pick guaranteed, but I def can’t on a blind GB 🙁 – They’re gorgeous though, Mel has done a great job on them, I hope those who go for them have a lot of fun with them! 🙂

Mine delivered and He’s Beautiful! I got ‘V’ and I named him Victor…
He’s a nice purple-cyan shift with black edges along the white underbelly, legs, neck and blaze on his head. He’s wearing a Magenta-ish collar with Teal gems, and has what looks like Silvery-Teal eyes – they are not blue… they may be Periwinkle I’m not quite sure. The spots are nice too! His markings are similar to the eBay Gothic Uni I won about 1-1/2 years ago, but with more white.

I’m riveted on the little dragon facing the mini keeper, between it and the horse bust and just over/behind the images of the Quilin. What’s the story on him? Ever hopeful on new dragons!
(and I really like the Quilin, speaking of him. I like the doggish feeling of him!)

I have been trying to do a pebble dragon, but they always end up being too complicated. This one looks a lot like the mini keeper, facing the other way.

When I think of a pebble dragon, I think of something real similar to the dragon bookends, but not textured and laying down kinda like the cougar (maybe mirror image the cougar so they can compliment each other when displayed)
I also think it would be cute if the tail kind of wrapped around the front with a foot resting over it… that’s what pops into my head, anyway, lol

So far the Hoarder dragon hasn’t made it as a production piece. Could he have a future as a PYO?

Oh goodness, he would be an instant fave for me as a PYO, as he’s a lil more to my style than the current smaller PYO dragon! I definitely second this idea!

And the pebble pony is beautiful! Looking forward to getting one, would love a lighter buckskin production run! (Lighter = Lighter than the buckskin peg’s)

Is it just me or does the test paint PYO oriental dragon look like he’s eagerly awaiting a fist bump? Haha

I like the antiqued metal look of him. And the blue is a wonderful shade. It really goes well with the body.

I love how the gunmetal color turned out on him, and he changes his look a bit depending on the lighting, which is pretty cool too 🙂 I really do love how his blue turned out too, I mixed and mixed and mixed til I found a shade I liked, it’s pure luck the gems I ordered when he was almost done matched the blue perfectly! lol… The color combo does have credit to the creatures in Diablo 3, every time I played and ran into that particular creature I would think about how cool that would look on the dragon sculpt 🙂 the way the horns are done also goes to those creatures, never would I have thought to put the brown/sandy tones with the dark gunmetal and turquoise blue, but I really love how it turned out! I think at some point I will have to put this color combo onto a Keeper ^-^

Thanks! 🙂 Took me forever to figure out where and how to add more blue to him other than his wings, lol, that blue is so bright that it stood out too well, but I knew I needed more, he looked off when it was just on his wings.. hell, that’s why I ordered the special gem color, originally I was just going to put a hematite colored gem on him (To match his belly scales which are nearly hematite colored), but he really needed that light touch of blue on his head too…

I haven’t glued his eyes in yet, I figured I’d give the buyer the choice of deciding on a different color if they would like 🙂

A quick WIP of my newest lil brat ;p lol! I’m currently calling this one “Hellbat” because his inspiration was a creature from Diablo 3 that is a Hellbat, lmao… dunno if the name will stick though, I feel like he deserves a better one, lol ^.^

It’s a cruddy cell phone photo and wonky lighting… he’s a dark gunmetal, silver and turquoise… and once I figure out how to do it right, his horns and claws will look like Stag Antlers (Like what you would find on a stag handled knife) … I was arguing with his silver to blend correctly (One would think getting a nice blend between silver and black wouldn’t be difficult, but this guy does not like cooperating, haha) so I decided to fuss with the horns… which conveniently enough, are also being a pain in my tush XD … So naturally, I’m like *Fine! I’ll take your photo and show everyone!* haha.. He’ll be for sale when he’s all done 🙂 – I really need to get a daylight photo of him… Maybe I’ll do that tomorrow, see how he comes along tonight…

I’ve kind of skimmed over the comments, so I apologize if what I mention was already mentioned (If so, then take it as I second the original posters idea! haha)

I too have had a bit of an ill taste left from how some people have been acting on here… I’ve also noticed a particular trend in who the posters usually are, hell I was even involved in one of the Paypal issues… and though it could have sucked a lot more than it did for me, I really didn’t feel the need to flip out on forum (or even flip out at all), what’s the point in dragging *everyones* good feeling on this forum through the mud? Especially when it is pretty easily known that Windstone wants nothing to do with all of this drama.

What I think a decent solution to the problem, is knowing Mods can edit posts (and guessing they can delete full threads) I think anytime they feel the need to lock a post from negative feedback/arguing.. the entire thing should be deleted. Locked or not, the posts can be seen and they get their word out, which is all they’re trying to do… Hell, I’m noticing this thread, that is essentially saying *Stop it!* is getting highjacked by it.. but if those individual posts were deleted by a Mod with some sort of note of “Content not appropriate for this site” then the only time frame it would be up for is til a Mod spotted it, and since majority of this site would love to keep the peace, it wouldn’t take long for a Mod to be made aware… My hope would be eventually the instigators would realize there is no point in wasting their time writing things out because it would just get removed and they will no longer get their word out there.

Trades, Sales and all that glory, is a “Enter at your own risk” deal.. which I do believe is stated on the Classifieds someplace… None of this is Windstones business… Windstones business starts and stops on their own shops, and I can promise anywhere someone has had some sort of problem there, Windstone goes out of their way to make it right – Including when Candy Corns were sold, the shop glitched and oversold.. and instead of anyone getting a notice of “You’re one of the sad few who didn’t get one” Melody painted more!

This forum is the exact reason I have the collection I have… if not for it, I may have bought a couple and settled there… by this point, I have bought, sold and traded hundreds.. I’ve painted several PYO’s (I probably never would have touched one if not for the forum, I would have been too intimidated by it, but people here walked me through it and helped me problem solve).. I have made some amazing friends, and this forum has renewed my faith in humanity numerous times! When my own personal life stuff finally slows down, I look forward to being a regular on here again.. I would like to have a place to come back to, and I would really like to see it drama free.

Thank you, everyone for your kind words… I’ve barely stopped crying and can’t bring myself to sleep without him here. It hurts to see his bed without him in it… or to go a night without hearing his lil nails romp across the floor, hoping for his nightly cookie… it’s so hard to say goodbye when it’s sudden 🙁

I’ve picked out a memorial necklace I’m going to order, almost all of my money lately has been going toward fixing my truck, but this matters so much more right now… it’s the only thing that feels right…
He was there for me through all of my heartbreaks… he was what made moving home after my breakup so much less painful… I missed him so much and was happy to be with him again
