I second the request for a fairy wing tutorial! 🙂 Like I said before on deviantart, I adore these little guys. They’re probably my favorites out of all the dragons that you’ve done. All the work you put into them really shows (especially since I tried sparkly wool once–I know what a pain it is!).
Recently read Faefever by Karen Marie Moning, part of a series about fae and ancient magic in the modern world. Her writing style is very catchy and it’s getting really dark and interesting. 🙂 (Be warned though, heavy sexual content). And am slowly working my way through Bone, a surprisingly endearing epic fantasy graphic novel.
Am trying very hard right now to NOT buy Twilight, as I just know I’ll end up ditching all my work and reading all night…
And yes, it’s very depressing to finish a series. I still need to get off my butt and just read the last Sandman already! But I don’t want to see it end…
Wow, I wish I had your skills with a camera! Those pictures are amazing! Beautiful stuff. 🙂
Ohmigod…the cinnamon pearl curlie is glorious. I’ve always loved that color, but…WOW.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the rising dragonsnail! And the featherturtle. And the bobtail feathercat. 😀
I work much the same way, I have to have at least three or four (if not ten XD ) projects going simultaneously and bounce between them, so I won’t get bored. I think I have ADD when it comes to art. ^_~ But I figure, if it works it works!
Oh, and I think the slit eyes would depend on the sculpt, and on the coloring…I’m not fond of the slit eyes in that particular color, even though it does go good with the dragon. But then, I’m fussy. ^_^;; I think it could work well though!
Moss and lava are my faves, though rose and seafoam also tickle my fancy…
The blackfoot is definately my favorite twitter, and the moss is gorgeous…they’re both stunning.
That sunrise creme color is the first feathercat to *really* tempt me…the lava is also a fave!
Oh no, that’s so sad…I didn’t even know he was ill. I love his novels…jurassic park will always be a favorite.
The rock twitter is my favorite so far too. And the seafoam…oooh, so pretty, and very fitting colors considering it lives in a shell. ^_~
That horned dragon is glorious!
The bone rufa is too cool–and I love those colors on the feathercat.
Yeah! I’m in MA too and it’s been the third day for nearly an hour! What’s the hold up?!?!
Man, that pink one is beautiful–it’s rare I see a pink dragon look *right*, but the colors you chose totally work. And the tuxedo twitter? Eeeee!
I hate it. It’s dark at like 5:30 now–night falls by the time I get out of work! It’s so gloomy and depressing!
Ooohh…the ocean feathercat is gorgeous. I love the soft colors. And man, I love the sculpt on the rufa dragonsnail, and the way you’ve colored the shell…gah, I need to find some money! ;_;
