I hope that all of the questions about the Kickstarter have been answered. If you have a question that has not been answered, or have not chosen a Choose Your Own Dragon at all, please email me or Melody – service@windstoneeditions.com gets the message to me and if I don’t know the answer I will ask Melody. At this point I think email works best (if you’ve already emailed Melody and have not had an answer, ask me and we’ll try to answer it). If you ask questions here in the forum or via Kickstarter, we might not see them. We apologize for all of the confusion. This Kickstarter did not unfold quite as planned!
The magnet packets I mailed all came back to us today “Postage Due” – I’m sorry for the delay! They’ll go back out again on Tuesday May 27th. I thought they were “flats” but I thought wrong (its hard to understand our U.S.P.S. rules).
There are a handful of “Sand”, “Stone”, and “Magnet” tier Backers who have not returned their survey yet! Please do so, even if you had add-ons that won’t be shipped for a bit, it will help keep us organized to get them back quickly. I do not yet know when the next round of surveys will go out – we are still painting dragons.
Remember, if you have any questions about the Kickstarter you may email us directly at service@windstoneeditions.com
Definitely not Windstone – Does anyone know what company or artist made this? Or know where Scott might look for help identifying it?
Thank you Bantam Magnet tier, Stone Bantam Dragon tier, and Sand Bantam Dragon tier backers who have so quickly returned your surveys! We have sent out a lot of little dragons today in response to those. Most boxes were sent UPS ground, and you should have already received an email from UPS with the tracking number. Those that went through the Post Office I emailed individually with your USPS tracking number. If you returned the survey this afternoon and have not received an emailed tracking number, it has not been processed yet. A few of them had added-on “Choose Your Color” dragons which have not been processed yet. Tracking number questions (and any other questions) can be emailed to Susie at service@windstoneeditons.com. Please provide your Backer Number – we are keeping track of everything by Backer Number. Thank you! It was really fun to get these dragons on their way to their new homes! -Susie May 22, 2020
The first Kickstarter Surveys have been sent! They went to all of those with a pledge tier for the “Stone” or “Sand” Bantam Dragon and for the Bantam Dragon Magnet. We will be able to ship those with only that dragon reward very soon! Anyone with a Stone or Sand Bantam plus other items will probably have to wait for the others to be ready. Look for an email from Kickstarter and please respond to it right away! This is how we get your shipping address. If you have any questions about your survey it might be easiest to just email me directly – service@windstoneeditions.com reaches me – instead of trying to message through Kickstarter.
I’m sorry I don’t know how long the wait is before other reward Bantam dragons are ready.
We’ve blocked the accounts (and IP addresses) of spammers “Kayla” and “Nelly” however the private messages that those spam accounts sent out are still in mail boxes – we cannot remove those. Please just delete them. These same spammers may appear again, from different IP addresses.
As a rule, its probably a spammer if they begin with “hello dear” and its someone you never heard of before. Never follow a link in a message from a stranger. If you reply to the message I don’t think anything bad will happen (except that the spammer will know they’ve got “a live one” – like when you answer the phone to a telemarketer) but its best not to experiment.
If you get a spam message and wonder if Windstone knows about it – check the list of New Forum Members at the bottom of the first page of the forum – if they are listed there, it means we haven’t removed them yet and may not know about them – in this case you can email service@windstoneeditions.com to let us know. If they are not in that list, that means that most likely we’ve removed them and you can just delete the message without notifying us. We generally post on this thread when we’ve had a spammer too. We apologize for this inconvenience.
I just want to let anyone who sees this thread know that there is no one at Windstone Editions that is an expert on Wolf Dogs. Occasionally I receive emails through our “Contact Us” form asking for information – I’m sorry, we haven’t any information and do not have someone to refer you to. You might find someone in this thread that you could contact via Private Message. -Susie Hartney, Windstone Editions, Customer Service
The Windstone Dragons that have not been painted in the old “Brown” as of this date are: #511.5 Mother Coiled with the crystal ball, all of the Oriental styles, The Female Hearth Dragon, both Loaf Dragons, and the new Bantam.
I’m sorry, I think I told someone the Kickstarter was for a month and I didn’t find out it was not until today. My apologies to anyone I miss-informed. Please be sure to read all of the Kickstarter Update emails that Melody sends out to stay on top of things.
Thank you Twin Dragons Mum! I kept wondering what would be appropriate as a filter – however didn’t find much at all in my efforts to search for it. Coffee filters sound like an easy and cheap item for people to obtain (until they become like the toilet paper! – and actually – in my house they are needed for the COFFEE!!!)
and Bodine, I am fine, thank you! I have lots of allergies and have been distancing my self extra because of a slight sore throat – which I believe is simply pine tree pollen invoked. No fever. No cough. Just trying to stay safe.
Twin Dragons Mum – My hats off to you and your group for making zillions of them! Yay for the sewing brigades! its hard work! I’m making some for us to use (I figure they can be dust masks in future if nothing else) and in two days have completed only 4! LOL! Hopefully I’ll get faster now that I’ve got my pattern down. I am happy to be using up random scraps and fat quarters from my stash – some will match my wardrobe!
I’m making them to hold a disposable filter – what material can be used for that?
The March 26 batch of Winged Lions sold out quickly. We had about twice as many “waitlist” requests for them than we had Lions to ship out. If you missed them from this 2nd batch, please press that “join waitlist” button again. We apologize for the inconvenience. I believe that more need to be cast before Gina can paint up more of them.
March 23, 2020 at 12:45 pm in reply to: A Large Collection Will Be For Sale Over The Coming Months #1606785I haven’t read everything on this thread yet but I’m pretty sure some forum rules have been broken here recently. Will everyone please review the forum rules? Especially rule #5
We restocked a few PYO Long Haired Flap Cats and I have a few PYO Keeper Dragons. I have only three and there are 26 people on the waitlist for them – so I don’t want to restock the store with just 3 (and disappoint 23 people). If you need a Keeper Dragon for the swap, please contact me by email and we’ll see if we can make it happen! -Susie@windstoneeditions.com
Please note: We may be out of some eye colors and the PYO product pages are not entirely up to date with this. If you choose a color we do not have, I’ll send what’s closest or contact you about it.
AND we can swap eyes for you if you find that you do not have the best colored eyes for your PYO. Just email me with the sculpture style, the color you would like, and the address, and I’ll send them out.
When you’ve determined that you do not need extra sets of eyes that you have, (hang onto them if you do a lot of PYO’s in case you need them in the future), you may mail them back to us! No need to contact us first. When mailing eyes, put them in an envelope with a little padding because the postal machines will squeeze them right out of a plain envelope and leave them to surprise a tired person with a broom. 😉
