Twin Dragons Mum – My hats off to you and your group for making zillions of them! Yay for the sewing brigades! its hard work! I’m making some for us to use (I figure they can be dust masks in future if nothing else) and in two days have completed only 4! LOL! Hopefully I’ll get faster now that I’ve got my pattern down. I am happy to be using up random scraps and fat quarters from my stash – some will match my wardrobe!
I’m making them to hold a disposable filter – what material can be used for that?
The March 26 batch of Winged Lions sold out quickly. We had about twice as many “waitlist” requests for them than we had Lions to ship out. If you missed them from this 2nd batch, please press that “join waitlist” button again. We apologize for the inconvenience. I believe that more need to be cast before Gina can paint up more of them.
March 23, 2020 at 12:45 pm in reply to: A Large Collection Will Be For Sale Over The Coming Months #1606785I haven’t read everything on this thread yet but I’m pretty sure some forum rules have been broken here recently. Will everyone please review the forum rules? Especially rule #5
We restocked a few PYO Long Haired Flap Cats and I have a few PYO Keeper Dragons. I have only three and there are 26 people on the waitlist for them – so I don’t want to restock the store with just 3 (and disappoint 23 people). If you need a Keeper Dragon for the swap, please contact me by email and we’ll see if we can make it happen! -Susie@windstoneeditions.com
Please note: We may be out of some eye colors and the PYO product pages are not entirely up to date with this. If you choose a color we do not have, I’ll send what’s closest or contact you about it.
AND we can swap eyes for you if you find that you do not have the best colored eyes for your PYO. Just email me with the sculpture style, the color you would like, and the address, and I’ll send them out.
When you’ve determined that you do not need extra sets of eyes that you have, (hang onto them if you do a lot of PYO’s in case you need them in the future), you may mail them back to us! No need to contact us first. When mailing eyes, put them in an envelope with a little padding because the postal machines will squeeze them right out of a plain envelope and leave them to surprise a tired person with a broom. 😉
We restocked the PYO Dragon (the smaller one) today! We also put in ONE PYO Unicorn, and a few PYO Kitty Griffins. Tomorrow there may be a few of the PYO long haired flap cats. If the ONLY thing your partner wants is a PYO Keeper, email me and I’ll see if we can get one to you in time to paint it (there’s just a small possibility, let me know!). I’m sorry we haven’t much in stock.
I’m having trouble writing the email address in this post! Please ignore that part at the front before “susie”…
Our Webmaster Clay has flagged that one.
Remember, if a message from a stranger begins with “Hello Dear” its most likely spam! And do not follow any links on such a message. That Kayla Noyes was super friendly to us all this morning. We apologize that we cannot keep all of the spam out and we thank those of you who help bring our attention to it quickly.
Entering the raffle will work best from the link in the announcement where the subject line of the email is pre-filled for you (and you add some details in the body of the email).
Someone told me that their email entry bounced – anyone else have any trouble?
Just to let you know, none of them have left the building yet. We’ve been making shipping labels for them but they haven’t gone anywhere yet. Today those going UPS will go out, and Tuesday the USPS ones will begin going out. I do not think all of the USPS ones will be ready to ship out on Tuesday. Hang in there!
January 17, 2020 at 12:01 pm in reply to: So, what’s next on the schedule? (Part 4 NEW for 2020) #1597816The Ponycorns are in the store! Four varieties – some batches are quite small. The limit is one per batch (you can buy one from each batch).
I just realized the link in the announcement for Safari doesn’t go right to them. Here’s a link to Grab Bags in general: https://windstoneeditions.com/product-category/grab-bags/
January 16, 2020 at 6:24 pm in reply to: So, what’s next on the schedule? (Part 4 NEW for 2020) #1597653We are open on Monday. Monday there is no U.S. Postal Service, but there is UPS service that day.
Just a note about the way the Ponycorns are being packed: These are wrapped in bubble wrap, with the Ponycorn placed in a position so that he gets rolled up with his horn pointing straight at the opposite end of the box and about 2 inches from the end of the box (his bottom is maybe an inch from the other end of the box – the horn needs plenty of room in case he jumps headfirst toward the other end). He sits in there at an angle. The bubble wrap is firm around him protecting his hooves and preventing him from moving headfirst into the other side of the box. If you are going to be reshipping a Ponycorn, for best results pack it in the same way that we packed it (including that clear plastic bag he’s in, those protect the finish) – HOWEVER – BUBBLE WRAP CAN LOSE AIR! If you reuse the same bubble wrap he may sit in there a little too loosely – so add some more of something around him to keep him snuggly in place in his box. He shouldn’t move around in his little box, if he does, he needs more bubbles.
This is different than we usually pack things and incredibly difficult to describe! Please make note of it and pass it along to anyone who might be shipping one to you. If we can, we’ll try to post more about this and maybe even some pictures, but its hard to reach everyone – so pass the message along. Thank you!
January 16, 2020 at 5:15 pm in reply to: So, what’s next on the schedule? (Part 4 NEW for 2020) #1597635Sorry folks, you can relax, the Ponycorns are not going into the store tonight. I cannot tell you when they will go into the store until it has happened (around here we literally do not know when something will happen until it already has).
Watch your email for the announcement. Please don’t run auto-refreshers on our store or manually refresh our store a zillion times, it slows things down and will make it harder for us to put them into the store when the time comes. Thank you!
I am SOOOOO happy for you! <3
You are so WELCOME Darjeb! I’m so glad I made you smile! 🙂
Entries due October 31st! Have some fun and send some photos!
