My concern about pagenation and nested replies was already answered. Hopefully that is resolved… I already see improvement in format from how it looked this morning to now. Missing a few messages from prior to the migration and I know one post edit I made didn’t survive from 2 weeks ago, but I had no transactions going that I didn’t also email the other participant in prep for the migration as a precaution, so I’m good there. I’ll need to play more on this format to see what else I see if I get a moment.
One suggestion I have (aimed more toward Jennifer/Nambroth). Since the editing of old posts that were moved from the old platform (yay for not being on Drupal!) to the new platform has disappeared, which I expected would likely happen, for the threads that had a lot of editing to posts by their owners (Wishlists and PYO commissions come to mind), can we start fresh threads for those? I know the Wishlists thread has got a LOT of chitchat that was supposed to be kept to a minimum, but has crept in there. Would be a good opportunity to start fresh on them (and allow for editing of posts again by their owners). I can’t recall if the Wishlists thread was originally stickied (I think it was), but I know the PYO commission one was). Thanks!
Here is the Father/Male Foo Dog I painted for Kujacker to help complete his PYO set. It is based on the character Carl Clover from the video game ‘BlazBlue’.

Here is the lovely hippocampus I received from Rylorien. I gave the person who painted for me fairly open reign. This is the first hippocampus I’ve gotten (aside from the blank I have sitting in a box to paint) and I am quite happy with him. The odd colored eyes was a nice touch. The scales and mane are iridescent and shiny with interference paint. I love it! I received a lovely hippocampus last week from Rylorien. I have pictures, and will post them tomorrow night or Monday at the latest (my free time has been pretty sparse lately and I’ve got to hit the road by 7am to get to a graduation ceremony around noon, so not tonight. ).

Mine will go out Tuesday (US holiday on Monday). Twelve hour day at work and I just got offline because the on call person wouldn’t answer to transfer the case I was on for work several hours ago. So, Monday morning at 9am I will be waiting for the post office to open, since I have to leave the house tomorrow before my post office opens to drive 4 hours to pick up a dog I’m adopting (I guess the long drive won’t be all that bad).
This handsome unicorn pranced his way to my house last week. His name is “Atlas” and his eyes are a metallic lavendar.
There aren’t a ton of unicorns I have seen show up yet that I would trade for from this batch (like Balder, or the other leafy with berry one, and a few others, or maaaybe Briar Rose), so most likely this guy will be staying. I like that his nose is brown like many black horses, instead of a light colored nose for a more natural look. The gold markings I think are color shift (gold/silver). They seem to flash slightly.

Yep we are aafe, were more fortunate then many, we had lots of time, two hours, to get prepped so we got our camper loaded up and were able to get all the pets and family members out, except my fish and to the best of my knowledge we have had power so with luck they’ll make it too. Our families are all over Alberta so we have had lots of places offered to us to stay at as well. When I get internet again I’ll post some pictures from our escape 🙂

Glad everyone is safe. Things are replaceable. People and pets are not. It’s so fortunate, considering how horrible and crazy this fire has been, that no deaths were caused by it (though there was a fatal accident in the evacuation). That is truly remarkable. This is truly a massive, scary fire. It could have been worse and most of the city was spared. I’ve seen photos and that water isn’t palatable in the city right now. Hopefully, people will be able to start moving back soon and rebuild and the businesses north in the oil sands get back up and online, so everyone up there can get back to work, including your husband Jellyfish. That will help everyone.
I believe mine did get through eventually. I got a receipt and also an invoice. In my orders it shows a processing order and an “on hold” order which I assume was the one that I tried to place initially that gave me the weird messages about it already being paid for and being canceled. Anyway, I put a message on the second order that I had trouble placing it, and that I only want one order. As far as I can tell, there is only one charge on my credit card so that’s good! The only leftover issue is that it charged me more for shipping but I can live with that.
I had something similar happen. I emailed Susie about it. First order I put in for myself shows paid in Paypal, but not showing a store invoice. Second order I submitted on behalf of another forum member (shipping directly to them), the uni bounced out of the cart, but I was able to go through and complete it. That one also shows paid through paypal, but that one does show a store invoice. Might be some glitches in the system, but this is also the first grab bag test of the new store and I’m sure everyone is nervous to see how the new store holds up!
The last ones I have cards for were the young gb poads that came next after the batch from Dec. 2012 and the gb adult poads. These would have come out after the sugarplum poads and bengal poads that were in the store.
Hopefully someone will be nice and post screenshots of the unis (for those of us who missed and are sick in bed)?
EDIT: Nevermind. I found it is on youtube and I can just scroll quick to get an idea of what they look like. That works!
For the old animals, some were done back a few years ago in very small batches in natural colors for the store or ebay from leftover castings that were found, such as the razorback and old frog/toad (though I do have some originals from way back). Will those do? I’ll see if I can get my lightbox set up and get what I can and share them through dropbox. Also, do you need the ruby orientals?

I find that the golden acrylics (Same ones I use on Windstones) adhere the best. If I need to thin them I use airbrush medium, especially since it can be used on fabric and is very flexible.
Great! I mostly only use golden and have plenty here (and some of their airbrush medium). Perfect! I just wasn’t sure about using it on fabric in case I needed to hand wash something. Then again, I have t-shirts I’ve stained with paint when a paint brush rolls off the table or accidentally goes flying, so I should have known better. 😛 Thanks!
