Adding to my squeak for a Store version of Moonstone: please, please let us also have a Store version of Onyx Moonstone? I can’t even tell which I like better, so obviously the answer is that I need both! I tried for the OM Lap but was significantly outbid, so it seems like it would be a popular Store option…
Still squeaking for a true Sapphire production color, and a and true Black production color that isn’t a “hybrid” (Black Gold, Black Peacock) someday, too. <3
I love the idea of a true sapphire production color; I’m all about the blues. I wasn’t sure about the Onyx Moonstone when I saw the group picture, but the closeups on eBay are amazing. The blue “antiquing” is stunning. It may be too complicated for a production color, however.
Is it more complex than, say, Black Violet-Peacock, or Blue Morpho? (Since I didn’t win the auction I bid on, I don’t get to see it in person. ): ) Store versions are usually a little ‘simplified’ compared to test paints, but I think it could be made more mass-production friendly without losing too much detail. It looks like a lot of the detail is actually the antiquing, rather than handpainted markings, so maybe that would help with the transition from test to store color?
100% with you on the sapphire squeak! I’ve been squeaking for a Sapphire color since the olden days of Ruby and Emerald. 🙂 Maybe one day my dream of a shimmery, jewel-toned sapphire-blue dragon (with sapphire-yellow eyes!) will be realized…

I love the ivory moss color, but have never really cared for the red eyes with it. Seems too jarring a contrast to me. If the eyes were a softer orange, or the metallic tan, or even a different shade of green, it would be an entirely different story…
Same here, Megan. The body colors are so lovely, but the eye color always feels a bit jarring to me. It never felt like it fit either the ‘moss’ or the ‘ivory’ of the name; it’s such a bright red that it doesn’t have that feeling of natural material or of age. If the eyes were grey or silver, like weathered stone, or tan/gold like really old ivory, or a dark green, I’d be all over it.
Maybe if there’s ever a Store version… 🙂

I’m loving Onyx Moonstone at least as much as the original Moonstone; I need to go squeak for a Store release, for sure! And I’m excited about the future Store version of Atlantis, too. <3

Is that a flying mouse in the back of the big group picture?? Oh, no, I love it! I have some adorable tiny paintings of winged mice that I bought at a local convention years ago, and a winged mouse would be just the thing to display with them… 🙂 The ones in the paintings have butterfly wings rather than feathers, but *shrug* details, details. 🙂
I see what looks like Pebble Cats, and a Pebble-sized Cat Wizard, too – very interesting! And I’d love to see the little strutting green critter on the left better.
The small kirins in the right bottom corner would definitely come and live with me if they ever make it into production! <3

The sushi kitty is adorable – I’m particularly drawn to the headband, for some reason! Very sparkly and elegant.
Love Sandstone’s colors! I might have to commission that on something; the hard part will be making up my mind about which sculpt. 🙂

Wonder what color the eyes for Solar Eclipse will be? Hope it’s metallic gold, or something else suitably shimmery! They’re really neat-looking dragons, and I say this as someone who’s not usually a fan of red.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your sister. Thank you for sharing her beautiful collection with us, and I’m glad that her collection has become a comfort for you.
She had a lovely mix of colors and several of my favorite sculpts! I hope you can find some inspiration on the forums for display; I know there have been some threads about how people like to display their collections, and some about shelving, which might be helpful.
