Nabbed the last curled one. It’s lovely, but I think s colored crystal would be prettier than the clear one.

The current store description says they have purple crystals… Were some of the early ones made with clear crystals?

I noticed the other day when I was browsing the PYO section that Albino eyes aren’t one of the choices on the dropdown menu; is this because they’re sold out?

I didn’t look at every sculpt, but the Kitty Griffin, Kirin, small Dragon, and Griffin definitely didn’t have an Albino option.

If they are out, any idea when they’ll be back?

I just checked. We DO have albino eyes for all the pyos. However, Susie says it is really complicated to add more eye colors to the new store. So, choose one of the available eye colors from the list (so you can place the order) and then, in the customer notes, write that you would like albino eyes instead.

Okay, cool! I was wondering if it might be something like that, since it seemed to be an issue on multiple different sizes of PYOs. 🙂

OK, some new information has come to light, so I’ve edited my post.

I’m still feeling a little paranoid, because UPS *has* delivered a Lap Dragon to the wrong address before and then lied to me about its being delivered to me! (I was 608 N. Oakland, and — I suspect — they sent it to 608 S. Oakland! And they were no help at all about it, just insisted it had been delivered and gave me the first name of whomever had signed for it… because goodness knows there’s only one Michelle in the world, right?? A few days later the package just turned up on my doorstep, and I’ve no idea if somebody gave it back to them to redeliver or if the recipient just brought it by and left it there when it turned out to be something they didn’t want/realized it wasn’t theirs.)

Hopefully, though, it’s just a case of “running slow this week” and it will turn up soon…?

Thanks, guys. I guess I will try calling the post office, since I highly doubt my neighbors have it. (One’s practically a recluse, but the other is very friendly and is always popping over to tell us about the cool thing he found at a yard sale, or his remodeling plans, or his wife’s garden.)

I’m shocked by this, because I live in a stereotypically “Good Neighborhood” and we’ve never had something stolen! (We have expensive bicycles under the carport, and a tool shed with thousands of dollars of tools and no lock on the door, etc.)

Oh, I love the Quillin! (I have such trouble not saying that in a way that rhymes with chillin’…) I would definitely vote for paws, if you’re having trouble deciding; I think it would be super cute! (What can I say? I think I just like paws; I do own four PYO Kitty Griffins, after all!)

I’m also curious, Melody, if there might be two versions of the PYO Oriental someday, the same way you guys did the PYO Kirin — one with smooth and one with ‘fancy’ edged scales? Either way, I’m excited to hear that he’s still being worked on and is getting closer to production, though!

There is a strange Windstone hatching dragon on eBay. I cannot figure out how to post a picture on here. 361552352423 is the item number. Can someone please take a look and let me know what it is? I am dying of curiosity.

That’s the old Gargolingus! http://www.astralcastle.com/windstone/wslist/gargolingus.htm It was retired in 2003. One of the few (maybe the only?) gargoyles to come in color; though I know a Guardian Dragon Gargoyle in Peacock was also produced at one time (can’t recall if that was a regular item, though, or just a test paint).

Oh, and I got too excited to mention, but – there’s a typo in the descriptions of all the Tanzanites except the OW and the Spectral. Each is described as having a “tazanzite/Tazanzite” colored crystal!

(The Spectral’s crystal color is not mentioned.)

I love Barn Owls particularly, because one was resident for many years in my grandmother’s barn when I was a child and I just loved catching glimpses of it! (And teaching my cousins to pick apart the pellets for tiny bones… I was *that* kind of kid!) For some reason I just had the Barn Owl x dilute tortie combo leap into my brain and refuse to go away; I even tried to paint it myself, but my skill level wasn’t up to it. I’m so glad I found someone with the skill to pull it off!
