OK Ponycorn 115 has arrived and is available for trade!
The class picture did not do this beautyΒ justice, the colors are vibrant and just slightly pearlescent with touches of gold on the shoulders and tail.Β TurquoiseΒ eyes and a pink gem finish this lovely gal off.
If you’re interested in trading, check out the classified listing here: https://windstoneeditions.com/members/kirlika/listings/view/1672572/fantasy-ponycorn-115-available-for-trade/
Love those videos. One question though… I’m familiar with the gold/silver paint pens but the one that Melody was using on the autumn leaf ponycorn which was green, I’ve not seen that before. What brand/kind is that? Anyone know?
OK this is my first ever squeak so here goes!
I would dearly love to see some more natural coat equines. Hippogriffs, ponycorns or young unis in particular! β€οΈ
There’s just not enough Melody to go around for all the love!
Seriously though, Melody, thank you so much for sharing your genius with the world! You’re amazingly talented and it’s an honor to support you!!
Mine arrived yesterday! Love the sculpt (it’s my first time seeing it in person) but I’m not finding myself wow’ed by the AWD coat (Don’t get me wrong, Melody you did an amazing job, it’s gorgeous!) so he’s up for trade. If you’re interested DM me here or on FB and I’ll let you know what I’m looking for in return π
Oh, I’m so glad that you like her Lectral! (And that she arrived safe and sound!)
Curiosity question. I believe this is a secret exchange correct?
Basically, I’m wondering If I have a question or am looking for clarification on something from the person I’m assigned to paint for would I bring it to you Brenda?
(I’ve not done a creative project secretly before, typically when I’m doing a design for someone I’ve got the opportunity to really get in-depth on who they are and what they like π )
I’ll be honest I’d love it if we could purchase a full set of colors for a particular sculpt. I feel so bad asking for extras of different colors to be sent.
July 22, 2022 at 11:50 am in reply to: Young Qi-Lin β Grab Bag Edition β Koi 2022 show off thread #1660821Ugh that sucks Kujacker, but I’m glad Suzie was able to get you another! I guess that’s one reason to be happy to have to deal with customs fees? I’m *always* going to the PO to get my box b/c of needing to pay duty and taxes.
On that note, I also just got my koi qi-lin in. She’s a lovely combo of copper, gold, silver and black with splashes of orange and tons of detail (#10). The color is so rich on her, it’s amazing. The photos don’t do her justice really. Seriously Melody the work you put into these is above and beyond!
This lovely gal is up for trade! I’m looking for Test Paints and Grab Bags of dragons, young unis, ponycorns, hippogriffs, and male griffons primarily (no pebbles or giraffe prints, please) I’d be open to other equines or griffons but I’m much pickier on those. π
(PS I’m in Canada so please take shipping into account!)
Ok! Number 18 has arrived at my house. Lovely green, blue and purple with gold horns. He is available for trade!
(I’m looking for GB/TP of dragons, young unis, poppycorn or hippogryphs (natural or non-giraffe safari coats are my primary preference for the latter three but I’m willing to look at fantasy options as well.). 3 way trades are also doable π
Keep in mind it’s not really been “1 per customer” though recently with the different options available. Even at 120, if it’s split to “just” two categories that’s only 60 people in total who get a GB order in if everyone gets “one of each” as so often happens.
I’ll be honest, as someone who isn’t able to be hovering on my email during the day to wait for a GB to drop I’ve pretty much given up on the idea of ever getting one of the sculpts I’d be interested in as a GB at this point because of that exact fact. It’s disappointing but complaining isn’t the answer either so… *shrugs* π
In answer to your question though Melody, red foxes could be interesting π Personally, I’m not a huge fantasy paint person for non-fantasy sculpts (foxes, cats, horses etc) but I do also enjoy seeing what you come up with for the non-giraffe safari paints as well π

Everyone is talking about the pinks and here I am going “ohhh what a pretty teal/blue!” LoLI don’t know if I ever heard of what name was chosen (if any)
To be honest I was/am hoping for something a bit more affordable (especially for us Canadians!). Sub $200 is where I could even start considering getting any of the grab bags and while the Halloween cats met that criteria they’re not a sculpt/design that worked for me.
Ah well if it happens it happens, if not then I save for the next round! (Hyppogriffs maybe? π )
Do we know how much these guys are going to be? (not the 24 specifically, though I wouldn’t turn down knowing that too π )
