I got this beauty from the restock! These are bad, bad pictures – I’ll get better ones later 🙂 I like her a lot but I now have far too many safari Poads so I’ll likely be putting one of mine up for sale soon (perhaps not this one though! Not sure yet!)

I fell in love with her in the teaser photos, which is surprising because in general I don’t find myself drawn to duns (or simple schemes for that matter). She’s a bit of a strange mix–not quite zebra, not quite dun, with a white belly to boot, and beautiful dark grey eyes (plus her throat is dark grey and the crest of her head is white…such an unusual beastie!).
She’s a Quagga 🙂 One of my favorites schemes, based on an animal that sadly went extinct in 1883.

Oh my gosh, Anders! I was after him for the longest time XD there was something about his nondisplay side that really rang true with me. I always loved Hutzpah too 🙂

I like the AWD but I’m a little tired of their pattern on everything, so I am going to put him up for trade or sale. I believe the other may be a Bernese Mountain Dog? I thought Rottweiler when I first looked at him but I don’t think they have white bellies. He will be for trade as well!

He’s got really neat eyes, but he is far too simple for my tastes! He’s up for trade.

I got one from the safari batch, and one from the “plain” batch. That one is much more of a gamble, but after much hemming and hawing, I decided to go for it!

I’m lucky I checked my email when I did.. I’ve been suffering from dehydration most of the day and haven’t felt up to doing much of anything other than sitting under a blanket and not moving as much as possible. I started to feel better and checked my email at 5:45, and hooray! Poads AND the Hippocampus! Woo hoo!

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!Eh. I kind of hate questions like this because, if you were really hoping for Poads before Christmas and express an opinion that they get released before, you’re the bad guy who wants to work Susie to death.
That said, I do not want Susie to overwork herself, but I was certainly thinking these would be out for Christmas and be available for gifting at Christmastime.
In the end, it’s Windstone’s decision. I think in the future if there’s a decision like this to be made, it might be easier on some of our consciences if the decision was made internally and just announced as fact (“Sorry guys, it turns out that the Poads are not going to be ready until after Christmas!” would be just fine).
I may be reading into it too much, but I am sensitive to ethical dilemmas (as minute as this one may be), and I do not like feeling like my opinion will be inadvertently causing someone else strife. :/

Are they going to be in three separate batches? Plainer ones, Safari, and Hoppy? I for one would be grateful if they were, because I am really not liking any of the Hoppy poads. The Safaris, however, look amazing!
According to Melody’s Facebook page they will be in three batches (Yay).
Melody was asked: ” Will these be 3 batches? Safari, hoppy, domestic simple??? I hope so”Melody answered: “Yes I was planning to have them be in three batches”

But please don’t do an all Hoppy batch – that would make me very sad. I am not a big fan of the hoppy pattern on Poads and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
I’d love to see the Hippie type patterns on the Youngs as well!
