To me, all of you that have taken the time to register here, or post a comment on Melody’s facebook, or have admired her stuff on Deviantart, or dreamed of owning a dragon that you saw in a window display… (etc)..
You are all true collectors. To label who is and is not a TRUE collector is silly. We are all brought together by the love of Melody’s artwork.
It is in your heart, not in the size of your collection or the depth of your pocketbook.
Agreed!! And without all of us crazy collectors, this forum, and Windstone, wouldn’t be around today. Whether you buy 1 piece every 5 years or 10 pieces a year, you are supporting Windstone, Melody, and all the people and energy that goes into bringing beautiful dragons and fantasy creatures into everyone’s lives.
Im not too sure what to think of these guys. I like the white, I like the orange eyes, but all that in combination with each other….Im just not sure.
Why has Jordan just started painting and then might stop?

dude…man, Im sorry Drag0n 🙁 That’s really terrible about your sister’s collection too. I can’t imagine having to get rid of a big collection because of water damage.
I hope things at work and with Saun even out and take a turn for the better. Hey, at least yall dont live together…fighting with someone and being stuck in that person’s space doesn’t help. *hugs* I always believe that when a lot of bad shtuff happens, that means that an equal level of good stuff is coming…so I hope that’s true for you too. Maybe all of this that’s happened is all the bad stuff that will happen this year and once its over, it will be good things from there on out 🙂
Sounds like you have a blue large wizard. The wizards don’t seem to fetch much…I’d put him in the $45-$75 range, depending on who is looking for one.

I dunno, that oriental itself is painted lovely, but yea… the color combination plus the nails don’t do a thing for me.
I’m actually thankful I haven’t liked many pieces lately though. I need to recover from other splurges!

Plus, Im sure people have charged up their credit cards over the holidays with gifts and travelling, so that's another reason prices are low.
In the My Little Pony community, you'd see prices rise in the winter because people were siting home in front of their computers, so there were more people actively paying attention to buy things…and in the summer when the weather is nice, people are outside, less competition, it was a buyer's market. Maybe Windstone is going through a similar thing?

Digging this up because the world hath not seen more Poison Dart Frog dragons, and alas, it be a sad day (heheh)
…and maybe an old warrior, emperor, lap dragon or sitting spectral to match. The other things she painted in Poison Dart Frog sold really well too. Its suuuuch an awesome color.
