Here is Hibernal. The pictures are a bit misleading as this unicorn is purple with a blue mane (not black with hints of purple and blue) and gold and red dapples. My camera loves to eat purple. She is definitely one of the more unique “fantasy” type ones. I’ll see if taking her outdoors for pictures tomorrow helps.
Edit: Sunlight helped a little so here some better pictures. My camera is still eating the purple though.
If he’s got orange eyes, a yellowish jewel, is signed, and comes in a red flame box, he is a red/russet flame. They came with COA’s. If you can find it, he’ll be worth a pretty penny. Good luck!
There was an initial “oops” batch of violet flame curlies that closely resembled red/russet flame curlies. The first picture is one of the red colored violet flame dragons, not a red/russet flame. Red/russet flame dragons have orange eyes and a clear jewel, were signed, and came with a COA. The red colored violet flames have red eyes, a red jewel, more purplish coloring, and dark blue antiquing. None of violet flames had a COA or signature. At one time I owned all three versions. Since then, my regular violet flame was sold, my red colored violet flame was given as a gift to a good friend of mine, and I still have my red/russet flame dragon.
In answer to your question, I believe a red colored violet flamed is worth more than a regular violet flame since there was and will only ever be one batch. Red/russet flames tend to go for the most money (some over $200.00) since they were signed and have a COA.
For those who are curious, there was an initial “oops” batch of violet flame curlies that were red colored. These look somewhat similar to the red/russet flame, but they have red eyes, and dark blue antiquing. They are also a bit more purplish than the red/russet flames.

You may not be fond of him, but I think he’s beautiful! I love the pinto/paints. It looks like there will be no shortage of people who will trade you for him.
PM me Skylover.
PM’d. Thank you!
Is there anyone still available who might be able to grab one (only one) for me? I have work and class on Monday and Tuesday, and I likely won’t be able to get one for myself. I would be really grateful.
Can I still join or is it too late?
I really like this new Blue Ice color! I’m not overly fond of spectrals, but this one I really do like. Wow! I’d love to see a line of blue dragons in regular or limited production.
Like Pam, I’m also hoping for a darker color similar to Twilight as well. Twilight is my favorite dragon color hands down.
That said, I have to disagree about replacing Black Gold with Black Emerald at this time. I’m still really hoping for orientals to be released in Black Gold. Also, while I like Black Emerald just fine, I tend to favor Black Emerald Peacock or Black Violet Peacock as a replacement instead.

I think I’d prefer normal eyes as opposed to the spectral eyes (sorry guys, I’m not overly fond of spectrals), especially if this ends up being a really big PYO.
I gave up on DA because of all the viruses and hackers .
I had the same problems with DA, photobucket, livejournal, and well the list can go on and on. I decided to give up Internet Explorer as a browser and went to Firefox. Firefox has a really good ad blocking program called Adblock Plus. After installing this, I really haven’t had anymore epic battles with viruses. If you want to be extra secure, you can also download a script blocker like other people have mentioned.
If you happen to get a troublesome virus that your antivirus doesn’t catch, I’d like to recommend Malwarebytes. It’s free as well, and has removed many difficult viruses from my computer that nothing else would.
Back to the subject at hand, I do have a DA account, and I’d be more than happy to upload some of my PYO pictures there.
I’m still going to go with my vote and say anything. This is a lovely dragon, and however it is made, I would love to see it in production.
I had a friend who would painstaking do this for many of the Windstones she shipped without a box. It worked very well. My only advice is to 1) vacuum out the hole of do something to clean the inside because it can get pretty messy, and 2) don’t forget the platic bag or something else around the piece to protect the paint job. The paint jobs will still scuff against the styrofoam.
