Man, with how many people jumped in right at the start, I think even my “top 10” list I prepped wasn’t enough. By the time I pledged, I was Backer #130 and I think around 120 of those were on the “choose your dragon” tier alone. That lavender one is gorgeous and one of my faves, GN. Hope you got it!
I was wondering if there were more guidelines on how to attempt to claim, too. Is it alright to send a Top 5 or even Top 10 list, so if the one I want is taken, I might still have a chance at getting, say…my second fave, #2 on the list, or #3? Or are we only allowed to initially submit for one number, and then have to wait to hear back whether that one is taken, and then submit a different number if the first one is knocked out?

I hope more people post pics. Really wish I knew what happened to that one autumn leaves baby I liked from the preview images!
Here’s mine. Gorgeous teals but not what I was looking for. I’ll be putting up an ad. I do already have a little wishlist going (the one black uni with white mane and autumn leaves, possibly a quagga or grey spotted cat of some kind that goes with my colts) but I’d be happy to check out any, or will also consider $ offers.
Now that the dust has settled, these are the three I ended up with after some trading and whatnot. Unfortunately I was trying to be optimistic and I love their colors and patterns, but the black outlines on the necklaces and the dark eyes on the two aren’t quite doing it for me so I listed them up for possible trade/sale (although if I was keeping one of these, it’d definitely be the dilute zebra…love!). Really hoping to find a quagga or wild ass someday, although I’m guessing by now they’re likely all in perma-homes.
I’m kind of really tempted to get one of the natural ones since there’s still a few left, but I really don’t want a pinto. X/ Errggh…

Wow! I think of the ones that have gotten posted, Aggie83’s fantasy and Etruscan’s natural are my two favorites so far. <3 Or maybe Nectaris’s. Argh! They’re all so great!
I posted mine up for possible trading, but here are the pics…I actually really like this one a lot, and the swirls and such are really cool. I hope we get more swirly equines in the future! Reminds me of filigree work or something. Never owned one of this sculpt before so was really glad to get one that hits a lot of my buttons. 🙂

I feel like I hit the jackpot and am in trouble, simultaneously. I wanted to get a bunch of these (as many as I could reasonably get, between funds and trading) and then decide which ONE was my favorite and then rehome the rest, but the two I got today are making it extremely difficult to decide on “the one” to keep. <XD
I think there’s really only 1-2 out of the whole batch that I might trade either of these two for. <3

Posted both in the trade ads. The red/gold one will definitely be up for trade or sale. The blue one was one of many that I actually liked, but I’m hoping I can find one like the ones on my top 5 list. Keeping fingers crossed.

I was super bummed that my uni showed up the day AFTER I left for Christmas vacation, as I knew I’d be gone for a really extended period of time after that due to a business trip directly after that. So I FINALLY got home and can share! Meet “Firth.”
Sadly after all that wait time he’s not one of my favorites, but he is still gorgeous! 🙂
