I keep hearing jeopardy music in my head when I try to think of ideas. >.< Is that a bad sign? :bigsmile:
Pam either selecting 5 unicorns from the batch for ebay or auctioning off top picks to help raise costs
I think the selecting 5 from the batch would work better then auctioning picks. UNLESS forum folks are not shown the batch before hand. Then, auction off the picks, let only the winners see the group photo so they can have their pick. After the picks are done, take a second photo and post that as the class picture. That way, those buying from that GB batch at least know their favorite from the picture has a chance of showing up and won’t be gone to the highest bidder before hand. Really it would work about the same as Pam picking five for ebay. Without the ebay fees =)
I just don’t think it is right to be shown a group photo and have a select few taken out before they ship! I only wanna see ones in a class photo that have a chance (however tiny) of showing up in my mailbox lol.I agree with Hannah too. I think painting (or setting aside) some baby unicorns for the special items category would be better than auctioning “picks”. But I would take them out of the batch before class photos if you are setting some aside. That way you guys can still sell some of the special ones for a little extra. But they were never part of the “class” to begin with, so we know they are not part of the GB roulette =)
They bumpy bits remind me some of the glass floats I have seen from the beach. They had that same texture in places. Very nice!
I “think” the raffle amounts were 5 first, 15 seconds, 30 thirds and somewhere between 30 and 50 HM’s. But it’s not been posted anywhere officially that I have seen!
I tend to adhere to the idea that if I love a unicorn, the batch doesn’t matter. They aren’t intrinsically worth more by batch – it really comes down to personal preference I think.

Anyone want a PB 4th gen black stripe? >.< Wrong color for my breeding project.
It definately needs a choice of eye color or just split the batch so both are available =) I think both would sell out pretty quickly.
