Okay, some new stuff up first. Kirins! Thew first i call Royal Pewter. Matte finish on the furry bits, shiney everywhere else! the gray parts have some shading that doesnt show up well in the bright sun. if i get time I will try to get some inddor shots as well. the pics reeeeeally dont do this one justice
The second kirin I call shimmer, and that she does! literally covered in a rainbow of interference paints 😉 again, matte finish fur, shiney everywhere else.

Ooh. This sounds interesting. Are they primarily/all dragons, or do you have unicorns and kirin mixed in as well?
I do a bit of everything. but primarily the dragons i think lol.

Hey guys! I have missed seeing what shinanigans everyone has been getting into hehe. How’s things been for you?
Thanks guys! Sorry I have been so out of touch lately. Yet more family health issues have been popping up. I was gone for a few weeks to help out and visit with my mother in law and mom both, since they are both going in for surgery. I will probably being going out again in about a month after they have their surgeries too! So if I missed a PM or something, my deepest apologies. My ipad and I dont always get along =)
I think I have 1 or two more requests for this paint job, then I will do some new ones. I also have a baby sea dragon made, just need to make a mold!
Here is something I did for my mother to cheer her up. She collects dollhouse stuff and asked if I could do something like this awhile back. So I surprised her with it on my visit =)

Finally got home this weekend. There was a pretty uni waiting for me! =) Her name is “Astrid” She has light blue eyes, one emerald and one aqua stone. Her back is thickly painted with purple interference and I love the little freckles on the left side of her muzzle. >.<

I finally get to go home tomorrow so I have to wait until then to see. Don’t trade that tiger yet Kiya! =). There are a ton I wouldn’t mind having….Haven’t been able to post pics of the ones I like cause I am on my dumb-A iPad lol. Can’t wait to see some good pics though!

*dies* Yay!! Crawling around in the mud after frogs was now worth it >.o And for those wondering…the rottwieler was fine, no ill effects at all other than the discomfort of having all those quills yanked. That pictures was after about an hour pulling quills already too. I was too distracted pulling quills at first to take a picture o.o So it was actually worse than that to start with! She did NOT learn her lesson though, as she attacked porcupines at least three more times after that I can remember. Hard headed mutt >.< The male rotty we had back then was too smart to mess with those prickly little turds. He sniffed the first one and got a few quills in his nose for his trouble. (we think that is what happened anyway, since it occured while we were out one night) After that, he never had quills again, no matter how prickled up the female was.)

If email notifications aren’t possible..maybe have another banner on the front page? Where it says “now in store, reptangle, melody’s blog”. Add something like “New in special items.” perhaps? Or maybe a thread in the store section here on the forums? Just tossing ideas out >.<
I have high hopes for male blue eyed albino kirins! And I wouldn’t mind a mother coiled and a grand unicorn too. I don’t have any of those in my collection yet and would love to add them =)
I was wondering when this one would come up for sale! I saw him in the factory while I was there, he is quite lovely =) I would go for this as a LP in a heartbeat, especially on some dragons 😉
I do both. Mostly my base coats are the undercolor. Example: If I am painting a green dragon I will often start with a lighter green base.(or sometimes blue or yellow) Other times I just let the paint soak in for a different look :bigsmile:
