That’s my son, Brandon. He was eating lunch while I finished up the first layer. He was quite interested in what I was doing.
Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.
Here are my first in progress shots!
I’m going to add a different blue to the inside of the wings too.

Awesome! I’m going to need an arctic fox and a red fox! Before October since I’ll be going on vacation too!
Whats a “vacation” ?
LOL!!!! My parents have a time share, which is the only way we could afford a vacation since we don’t have to pay for lodging. It’s also the only time they get to see me and my two kids. It’s been a yearly thing for four years now. We spend a week in a condo on North Myrtle Beach. Can’t wait! This year it is just going to be a ton of us taking up four separate condos. Three three-bedrooms, and one two-bedroom. Four generations will be present.

This is the palette I’m thinking of using.
I also have some champagne metallic color that I’m going to use for the horns and such. I think it’ll warm the piece up more than gold.
I got a couple different brands to see what I like. I played with the Winsor Newton ones and love how creamy they are. That being said, how much should I dilute with the medium? And a question that I can’t find an answer to; do I need to prime the piece or just a light wash to get dirt and oils off?Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.
So I opened a photobucket account so I can show my Windstones here. Let’s see if this works!

Yeah, I am. I think it has to do with flicker and how the image file doesn’t end with a jpg or similar.

Thanks Hannah! I guess I’ll just have to deal with using the links and have people click on them. It’s not like my collection is extensive or anything anyway. I’ve just got the two Windstones right now. I’m more of a model horse collector. But I’m itching to see what the wild fat cats will look like!

I know that posted the links already. I’m just trying out the whole posting the photos directly to the thread thing.
Grrrr….not working
