Is that 8 degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit? It’s -18 Celsius in Calgary today and has been really cold since we had a big snow storm on the weekend. The road was so slippery where our car is parked, we couldn’t even get our truck to move two feet so I have been stuck at home for 3 days now. We are going to try again to get it out tonight or get someone to push it out as we have a bad tire that just skids on the ice.
Yup our first big deep freeze of the year 🙁
Right now its -24 Celsius (-11 Fahrenheit) and -35 Celsius (-31 Fahrenheit) with the wind-chill and there are areas of the city that are still buried in the snow (3 days later)Confirmation Requests Sent!

Why?!? WHY?!?
Why is it that just when you are starting to think that your life is turning around, that you’re actually going to start getting ahead of things does life up and hit you with that *Surprise*???I thought things were settling down, got my contract figured out (am employed until at least end of Aug next year), had some munies saved up to put towards my student loans, maybe even get a pretty and some other stuffs and BAM! Life hands me a multiple thousand dollar bill for something that I have to deal with now (wil be worse if I don’t deal with it). This means that it’s looking like no new winter coat and boots like I was hoping and definitely no windstones for awhile *headdesk*
Have many signed up? I would like to do this but I am not sure if I am as talented as some of the people who made ornaments before. I could probably find some arts and crafts stuffs though to create something.
If I remember correctly, we usually get about a dozen or so people for this one (skeeter would know better)

A reminder that there is only 5 days left to Sign Up!
Sign Ups close November 15!The date is based on the last ship date for regular parcel from both Canada Post and USPS for international shipping (if I have managed to misread that in the websites, please let me know). I don’t think that we’ve had too many people miss getting their goodies by using that ship date.
I know it seems late, but we’re already at under a month with those deadlines. Any earlier and I fear people might feel too rushed.
