Gorgeous!!! You really have talent!
Is there any chance that there will be any new garden statues made/released? Maybe some of the Production pieces already being produced? I love how real they look and would much rather fill my garden with gorgeous statuary than stuff everyone else has!!
I’d love a list of all Windstones. Some of my dragons are peacock but differeent from the peacock that was just retired. They are more blue and purple with gold accents and no green on them
That is excellent news about the garden staues!!!Now to collect the money (+shipping) for a little rock dragon for my Iris bed!!! I really hope Melody and Windstone can make more Garden stuff, I’d much rather pay money for such beautiful statuary that will last that some of the cheep stuff I’ve seen at the garden centers
We have alot of ‘Bandwagon’ stores, you know, they sell whatever is popular. I’ve been looking for stores that might be able to carry Windstones, but so far haven’t had any luck 😥 I’ll keep trying. There has got to be more than me in this city that love the pieces after all at one point there were 10 stores so that means they were selling.
Oh good! and I give all my Windstones a good home!
See you all on ebay!I would really like to get one of the garden sculputures but am a little concerned and was wondering if anyone would be able to answer my questions.
I’m concerned cause we can have some pretty wild temperature variations (40 degrees in one day sometimes) esspecially during the winter and even during the summer (it has snowed in july before) would they be up to that sort of punishment, both the concrete and the paint finish, or would it be better to bring them in during the winter? And are they hollow?
Also, I know I saw thins somewhere but I can’t seem to find it. Is there any list of prices that windstones are generally worth?
Thankx
Well I don’t have a man(never have), but I tend to think that Valentine’s is a day to tell everyone who is special to you how much they mean to you!!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
I tried for that griffin too but got outbid in the last 9sec! Ah well, it means I haven’t used you all my spare cash!
Oh boy collections and hobbies…
Well I collect Windstones (of course!) My Little Ponies, Books and Fox Stuffed animals. I think I’m like most people here when I say I’ve got way too much STUFF!! I swear it breeds when you aren’t looking.
Hobbies, well I doodle, crochet, look after the family dog, sew, and am constantly doing some craft/art thing or other. Of course I rarly seem to actually FINISH the craft/art thing so unfinished things kind of litter the place though now that I think about it, my schedule is so weird its no wonder i rarly finish everything 😯
How much further north???
It’s nice to know there are others close by (relitively speaking)with the same addiction
Pictures…..hmmmm
I’ll try, but some of my loveliest are still in there boxes in storage. I haven’t had a chance to really get things arranged the way I’d like them since I moved back to town. Yet I keep buying them…..
Oh, I think I saw shelving being discussed in anothe Thread(?) and I use Ikea shelving. Pretty and boy can it take a beating!!
Greetings to everyone! I’ve been watching for a while and thought is was about time that I said Hi. This is my first time in ANY type of online forum so please be paitient with me.
I’m 30 years old, live in Calgary, Canada and am a Stage Manager by Profession though I sometimes do Props and Costumes and even more rarley set painting.
I’ve been collecting Windstones since I had the money to pay for them. I think I was 15 when I got my first one, a peacock hatching dragon. I was already Dragon-mad thanks to Anne McCaffery’s books so the beautiful life-like dragons were just perfect! I new I was hooked when I scraped up the $500 cash and promptley went to buy my Peacock Emperor. I think I was 18 at the time and my parents thought I was nuts, still do. My mum calls them my dust catcher collection. I have all of the Dragons in peacock, a couple of camdle lamps, some limited edition pieces and have recently purchased a PYO Griffin from Helen Ross (Arla, I think) and a black and gem colored PYO Kirin from Watergazer. I can’t wait of them to get here, shelf space is already allotted. 😀 My collection currently stands at 38 pieces and of course like anyone addicted I intend to get more. Unfortunatley I have to rely on ebay and the direct sales page since there is only one store in the city (of 1 million people) that sells Windstones (not a great selection and takes forever to special order) and I don’t drive. Can’t wait for the rest of the Griffin family, those babies are sooo cute. I need to find a black and a tan male griffin too. And of course I’d LOVE a Secret Keeper and one of theose new curly dragons too. Or basicaly any Windstone I can get my hands on.
So that’s my hello and I’ll be around.
foxfeatherHey sometimes being cheesy works 😆 I think his eyes are a bit more like the dark blue early night sky we get here during a Chinook. But he is gorgeous. I particularly like the way you did the wings!
Oooooo he is pretty! Think i want…. I might bid on him if you’ll ship to Canada.
Must check Bank Account…. 😕
