What I find really interesting is how Disney won’t release Song of the South, but is releasing Peter Pan in a couple months. The song about “what makes the red man red” has got to be at LEAST as offensive to Native Americans as SOTS is to African Americans. I’ve got Peter Pan on VHS and I certainly shake my head when ever I see that part.
But then again, Disney really ticks me off when it comes to Peter Pan and the way they’re messing with the copyrights owned by Great Ormond St. Hospital…As I understand it, they’re pretty much stealing money from orphans. Way to go, Disney. Course the way I understand it, Disney also earns a lot of money from their chunk of the porn industry. Not very child oriented at the core!!

-J R R TolkienI sat there and stared at it for HOURS last night…I had my finger hovered over the BIN button the whole time…My fiance even told me he would buy it for me for christmas…..but I had my Windstone priorities lined up, and it wasn’t in there…..course, one of my top priorities just fell through, too, so I really should have gotten it. If you havn’t already, that might be a good idea…I imagine ebay listings get screened, and if you inform them that there’s a good posibility of stolen goods showing up there, there might be a way they can keep watch for them…Especially since you have pictures and everything.

Oh yes…never got to it though.
I have painted samples of the Flion in black and one in white. They look awful. I realised that the old molds had shrunk; this causes the castings to come out a little weird and deformed.That, on top of the original having been slightly off, and now I think the whole sculpture really needs re-doing. That project got got put on hold.
I am trying to find a new way to paint them to issue another special edition, but so far they only look good lion-colored, like the old one. Maybe, with copper wings or something?
I have another Flion sculpture that I have been working on occasionally. Maybe I’ll finish that one. It is another male though, not a FLioness.I would just like to say that what looks awful to YOU doesn’t necessarily look awful to your CUSTOMERS…I think this has come up before… ^_^ Though, I suppose if you’re not happy with it, it would be a sad, sad windstone. Unloved by mommy. 🙁
