Though I suppose that I will have to compete with all those e-bay fiends who wanted green or blue unicorns but did not get them. 🙂We could deluge you w/ husky pics for paint/color ideas. It’d be pretty sweet if i could get a husky council of wolves lamp with each husky painted in the colors of my crew.
I love flower arranging! I bought all the pieces for that one at Walmart. 🙂
I also love the tapestry pic… but I think I like yin and yang more… There are so many beautiful pics in this competition, I’m not sure how the judges will ever pick!
I paint miniatures and I use color shifting paint on them. The trick to making it work is that the surface needs to be smooth, it can ripple but the more extreme the bend the less likely you are to see a shift. The consistency of the base color is very important in getting the paint to shift. Mostly they look one color, and then the other (my favorite of the ones that I’ve tried is a purple to green shift). If it doesn’t work at all the piece generally looks black.

For the Kirin I like black fire, black violet, blue fawn, snow and chestnut. I also really liked that dark blue mother that sold on EBay recently.
I would love a flame point Siamese flap cat, or a violet point flap cat. I would also like a gray and white flapper, like a tuxedo cat in gray. I don’t know if there is a test paint like that.
As for Unis… I mostly like the “complicated” patterns with stripes and spots, but Something like Oceana might be nice.I had to come back and edit in… I love Beauty and would totally buy something like her if it was production. I also love that new Crabapple color… but I don’t know how “simple” either of those would be.
I got 2. Oh my god!!!! I thought for sure I wasn’t going to get any. I had to work overtime all this week, except for today!!!!!!
jackid55 had one a while ago. Melody donated it to fund raise for husky rescue and she won the raffle drawing. I don’t know if she’s selling/sold it though it though, and setsunawolf has one as well. You might try them. i don’t know where the 3rd one went.
I agree that Emmaline is gorgeous. I was actually hoping to get a palamino just to trade for her. If Shift had two brown eyes I would be trying to trade right now…but I love that teal eye of hers.
When I got Damask from one of the early batches I was certain that all I wanted was more pintos like her, just in different colors, and I was disapointed when I saw how few pintos were in the later batches… but Cicada and Shift have convinced me to broaden my uni collecting tastes. I guess I am just too much of a hoarder to let go of any of my pretties.
