I also totally agree with this. I love the Grab Bags, and every time I see the negativity some people put out I worry that Melody is going to get tired of it and stop… The reason we don’t get big grab bag pieces is that she doesn’t want anyone unhappy with an incredibly expensive piece. I don’t want to see our little grab bags shuffled into the same category!
I don’t mind paying more, particularly if that means Melody can devote more time to them.
My squeeks are for stripes and odd colored eyes… green, orange, red, butter yellow…
Green anything really…I’m a green fan and the ones with green on them became very expensive very quickly.
Oh Pam, I’m sorry to hear about your dad’s bird. A friend of mine had something similar happen to his snake… He had to go out of town for a work conference and left his sister in charge of his place and came home to find his snake dead of stupidity… just plain stupidity. It is so sad.
Maybe a horn choice could be offered? Like the eye choice? Particularly with the PYOs…
I’ve always hoped that the branched kirin horn would make its way into my display case someday.
I know someone who contacted the seller to ask what was up. The seller read this thread and decided to pull them. They are trying to find someone who can tell them for sure whether the dragons are repaints or authentic. When they do know they are planning on selling them and will likely re-list them on Ebay… they just didn’t want to sell them without being able to answer any of the questions they were getting about them.
If you have the receipts, the pieces were insured, and they don’t show up, you should be able to get your money back for them. Not a lot of consolation.
I didn’t notice mine in the group picture at all. The two that “popped” for me were much brighter and busier… and more central in the image. If I had studied the picture more I would have noticed her, I am a fan of green eyes on windstones. I don’t study the pictures because I know that I won’t get any specific one. It’s random. That’s the fun of it. If you don’t want a random draw than you really shouldn’t be buying grab bags from the store. Do what a friend of mine does… wait until everyone has their grab bag and offer money or trades until you can get the specific piece that you want.

She looks a bit like Wampus’ grab bag, but has metallic green eyes. She in the second row from the back and is second from the left in the second blog pic, Second from the right and second down in the first.
I think her coloring looks like Autumn leaf. It is green closest to her spine and shades to red. She has cute white and brown facial markings.
I’ll try and get some pictures and see if I can get Setsunawolf to post them for me. 🙂
