Thank You So Much! I’m so exited for his arrival!
Rainbow Pumpkin. I loved that piece.
I know! I keep checking back to see pics and none are forth coming! Mine won’t come until later in the week, and I want to live vicariously through everyone else!
I had a similar problem once. I eventually solved it by mailing everything in such a way that it had to be singed for and I received a return receipt. It was not until I was able to prove that they had received my information that they paid a dime. Even after I had the return receipt they tried to claim they hadn’t received it. I had to point out that I had the account manager’s signature proving that they had! Good luck.
That is an Awesome link! Thank You!
I was one of the ones in favor of a single batch, and I also thought that was the majority opinion.
The price hike was expected, and with the detail of the pieces I don’t think it was exorbitant. It was only about $40 more than I was expecting to pay and certainly not more than what any of these would have gone for on the secondary market with the last batch of Grab Bags. (I am remembering Lexicon here.)
I have been saving for these for a long time. I am not one of the collectors with truly deep pockets, and am happy that I had enough for this. I have been priced out of items before, and I know how it feels… but I understand that Windstone needs to make enough to stay open. My hope is that they will be producing beautiful sculptures for a long time, and that one day I will be able to afford some of the things I have seen and loved from the Special Items section.
I learned to meditate a few years ago. My instructor told us that the awkward positions and poses were to keep us from falling asleep since brains prefer sleeping to meditation. Ever since then I try meditating while comfortable when I can’t sleep. It usually works.
I vote for one big batch. I am terrified I will miss them, and I think if they are released in multiple batches that will decrease my chance to nab one. I know we have the honor system on “one per”….but my fear is that if they are released in separate batches I will miss each one.
I dearly want a fantasy blue/green young to go with my candy corn baby… I am willing to trade, but I have to be able to get one first… and when the batches are small the grab bags are sold out before I ever get a chance to respond to the email.
I was number 10. Nam, that gargoyle can be found in Paris, France. There are two of them, in front of and facing an angel. I am trying to find someone who will post a pic of the place for me… it was very pretty.
Thank you phantomess! That worked nicely.
Ummmmm…..
I’m not much of a photographer, and I just realized that all of the pictures I took are 3 MB. How do I make them 2 MB?
My wishlist!
Crabapple male dragon
Nettles the male grif (may 2012 raffle prize)
Ocean Tiger #1 gothic Unicorn
Little rock dragon rainbow pumpkin test paint
Lexicon the grab bag young unicornThe first time I saw a Windstone it was my birthday. My father took my best friend, my younger brother and me to the Medieval Times in Schaumberg IL. They had many interesting things to catch the eye of a fantasy obsessed girl, but the one thing that I truly yearned for was an Old Green Male dragon tucked safely inside a display case. I couldn’t afford him of course, I had barely enough money to leave a tip for my server, but I left with one of those little booklets with pictures of the sculptures in it. It was many years before I could buy one of those sculptures though… and I started with a Kirin instead of a dragon!
