Its just taking time to get everything done because there is a lot to do all at once! I have sent some of the Extra Bantam Dragon invoices – for those who wanted their dragon to travel with their Grab Bag Hippogriff and for whom we had the Bantams ready (they are not all ready). Lots of things going on over here! Please be patient, we’ll get things done as quickly as we are able. Thank you!

A chance to claim some leftover Bantam dragons!
There are lots of leftover Bantam dragons! These are still available to be claimed until August 7th 2020 by all backers of the Bantam Dragon Kickstarter.
There are still many “originals”. When a backer swapped their original choice, I found it to be nearly impossible to sort through every backer’s messages to find out who else wanted that dragon, so I put the swapped originals into this pile of leftovers.
I painted a lot of extra clones too. The clones will have letters and numbers.
If you would like to add these dragons to your hoard, Email me your dragon choice(s) in order of preference, with the words “KS Dragons” in the subject line. Include your Kickstarter backer number. You can start sending requests to me now. I won’t go by the order of the emailed requests, so no need to panic about getting them in quickly, BUT the end date for emailing requests is Friday, Aug 7th at 5:00 PM PST.email me : reptangle@gmail.com
Susie will send you a Paypal invoice for the amount. These are $250 each.
These are all signed by me with KS 2020 written on the bottom felt pad.
You can request, and buy, all the dragons you want. List them in order of preference, and let me know the total number of them you would like.For example: say: “I would like two of these, #86 #45, # 11 or #3 “.
I will go through the requests the following week and try to get everybody their first choices. If two or more people are requesting the same dragon, I will put your names in a hat and pick one!
I hope this won’t be crazy.
Thank you Stormbreeze – Yes! You can see posts on Facebook without having an account. Melody puts them there because its way easier for her to upload photos there (our forum is difficult for that – I cannot remember how to get a picture on here to save my life!). She posts publicly on her “Melody Pena” page. Have a look at that regularly!
We cannot give a long heads up any more than we can give any heads up at all about when something will become available. We never know ahead of time. We are constantly working on restocking and on new items. We are very few people. And sometimes we run into really strange problems! But the big thing is that if you all know we’re going to put grab bags in on a certain day, let alone a certain time, so many people refreshing to check if they are up yet creates a very slow website… and for the Newbies, we our site has been known to crash with that kind of traffic. (We’re a little proud of it, but it does create some real problems!)
Maybe some of you have some cute tricks for saving up for Windstone so that you are prepared for our surprises? I know someone buys themselves a gift certificate now and then – that way they have a little money ready and waiting for the next item. A piggy bank? What methods work for you? (Please don’t eat nothing but Top Ramen for a month – that makes me worry!)
I’m sorry, I totally didn’t let you know there would be a lag in the ebay listings. We were not on the ball and ebay changed how payments are processed and we can’t list anything else until we have been registered the new way. The good news is that I think you may have a wider selection of ways to pay for an eBay piece! But its possible that when you see a charge on your credit card or paypal account, it might simply say “ebay” – with no clue of who you bought the item from or what it was – so you might want to keep records of who you are buying what from. You’ll see listings appear as soon as we can list them again!
Melody’s got a plan for the left over Choose Your Own Dragons for the Kickstarter backers. Keep your eyes open for more info! She’ll most likely send a Kickstarter Update.

I’m pulling orders by Backer Number however some items are not ready to go – just because you have a low backer number doesn’t mean your order has shipped. Some orders are waiting for Sand color, Mystery Rainbow Tigers and Mystery Dragons which are not finished up yet.
If I’ve sent you an email to confirm which dragons you chose, please respond to it. And if you have not returned your Kickstarter Survey, Please do!
We apologize for the broken links in the announcement – the one with Melody’s email address that gives you the email form does work though. I’m sorry, I don’t know what happened to the other links to the raffle rules.
We have sent the remainder of the Kickstarter Surveys for the Bantam Dragons out today, June 18th. If you are a Backer, please check your email for your survey and complete and return it promptly! It will take us a while to process all of the orders (nothing will ship immediately). If you will be moving soon, please take that into consideration when giving us your address (you can tell us and we’ll double check we have the right address before shipping to you). If you need to contact us about any Kickstarter topic, its best to email service@windstoneeditions.com – with your backer number in the subject line or on the email – if its a Melody Question, I’ll forward it to her. The Kickstarter messaging system seems to be unreliable.
A couple of people backing the Sand Dragon level never returned their surveys – those were sent on May 21st.

We are adding Sand colored Bantams to the Kickstarter pledges in the same manner as adding the Mystery Rainbow Tiger dragons (or any other items not yet paid for) – email Susie and she’ll paypal you. If you need to pay for something additional not already included in your pledge email Susie service@windstoneeditions.com
If your pledge already includes a Mystery colored dragon and you want that Mystery to be a Rainbow Tiger Mystery – Please email Susie at service@windstoneeditions.com (or Melody – Include your backer number! we are trying to count how many Mystery Rainbow Tigers Melody needs to paint)
Emails way better than Kickstarters messaging (or Kickstarter comments or putting your request on this forum or our Facebook page or anything like that) Put your backer number on your email! 🙂
We’re just doing them as an add on “Mystery Dragon in Rainbow Tiger” for $240 to your kickstarter pledge. Please provide me with your Kickstarter backer number when you ask us to add one on and paypal you for it. Even if you told me your number yesterday I may not know it and its WAY faster to have you tell me what your backer number is than it is for me to dig it out. Any time you email me or Melody about your Kickstarter please put your backer number in the message (its extra nice if its in the subject line!). If you wish to add a Bantam in “Sand” to our Kickstarter rewards you can email me with your backer number and address and I’ll send you a paypal invoice – they are $165.00 (somewhere its incorrectly listed as $155 – we apologize!). We’ll be shipping the added on ones with the rest of your Kickstarter order.
So far surveys have only been sent to the Backer Tiers of “Magnet”, “Bantam Dragon in Stone”, and “Bantam Dragon in Sand”. If you emailed your survey back to us and have not heard anything at all from us, please let me know. service@windstoneeditions.com
Yes, Windstone is still sold in retail stores. Our dealers are mostly small brick and mortar retail stores and many of them may be temporarily closed at this time due to the COVID. I believe there are only a couple of them that sell on-line, and they date back to before we began to require a brick and mortar store front for all Windstone dealers. Our dealer list is not completely up-to-date in that some shops may be permanently closed, however its not missing any dealers. https://windstoneeditions.com/dealer-search/ Unfortunately I don’t think there are any in Dallas anymore.
