How about the tatzel cat dragon?
OMG Yes! I Love the Tatzel Cat idea. I have been wanting to make some myself, but just do not have the time right now. That could be a great PYO idea too!
Okay, to be honest I had NO idea what you guys were talking about with this guy. So I looked him up and found Melody’s drawing (and post). Such an awesome creature! I look forward to when Melody makes one she’s satisfied with! 😉 I think a crest of stiffer fur might be neat starting just past the brow and down to the base of the neck (sort of like a dragon’s fin crest). -laughs- I’m big into that sort of fur detailing.

And the reptile schemes Laurie has done have been simply smashing. I don’t care for the emperor sculpt usually but every single reptile scheme she’s placed on an Emp has made me want to get them if I could.

Those cloaks seem made for the color shift paint. Maybe Melody will try painting some and see how they look.
😀 I said that too on a different thread. The smoothness of the cloaks just begs for it!

Seeing this hippocampus in color shift (I love the touches of color on the top of her mane) makes me think you could possibly get away with painting a raku pottery inspired piece. Though with the complicated pattern I’m pretty sure it would end up being an eBay test paint or an Artist’s Edition. But it sure would be lovely.

I’m puzzled though, the store pic shows black facial markings for this color but your guy doesn’t seem to have them. Am I just not noticing them in the picture?

-grins- I like this idea. How about white base (or black base) calicos where their spots are color shift paint? Or tabbies where their stripes are color shift over flat color (or vice versa). Plus…I don’t have a Lady Cat yet.

What decided it was the cute black face markings on the magenta/gold. But because I was bad I’m probably going to have to skip on the next GB. -sighs- Ah well. Cougars are more awesome and this girl is going to be Bullrush’s buddy/SO.
A bit disappointed about missing the llamas too…but oh well. Win some, lose some.
