Excellent!
Cosmic Shift is absolutely spectacular – holy moly! I’d looove to see that as a production colour, I’d covet that. Also, chocolate mint is crazy cute, makes me need some icecream, way to go Gina!
Jumping in late, I never get envious of other people’s collections (just sincerely impressed that some people can afford to collect that much. Good job guys!) I do sigh sadly a bit when I see grab bags and cool new things that I can’t pounce on which come out, but that’s when I just take a break from the forum and remind myself that I don’t have room for a horde of Windstones anyway. I have a few really good pieces that I am super proud of and some really beautiful PYOs, so all in all, I have a really great collection even though it is small and it makes me grin – I can at least brag that the vast majority of my pieces are OOAK! Besides that, there’s a lot of love in my collection and good memories. I’ve also even managed to start my mom a little collection. 🙂 Collecting is just fun for me and it’s something that I have always done. My brother’s a collector too – he has over five hundred Transformers (yes, FIVE HUNDRED, he’s nuts but absolutely awesome!) And, since this year I have decided to FINALLY get my paws on a cintiq (‘drawing monitor’) and the only way I can afford one is through Ebay (a site I avoided for years but have now rejoined because I neeeeed a cintiq,) it looks like one of these months you guys might find me as your opponent bidder on a Windstone. (Although probably just super small ones because I have no space for any more large specimens! My three big dragons are it.)

Thank you so much everyone!! <3 I just got back from visiting her today and she was feeling quite a bit better. She was able to get some nutrients in today which was a relief! (Although it might be a couple of days until they give her food-food.) She's feeling fairly positive. I made her a card with a cougar on it (because those are her favourite animals) and delivered it this morning before work which did a bunch for her morale. Also, I told her that you guys are all pulling for her and she said thank you! She really, REALLY appreciates it. 😀 She needs all the positive goodness that she can get and she was so happy to hear that so many people are pulling for her recovery. 🙂
I hope she has an optimal recovery! And you’re a sweet daughter to be rallying support for her. 🙂 Did she make her hat/shawl? It looks hand knitted and I really like the colors!
Yes, she did! She’s fabulously creative, she has sewn all of our quilts and the vast majority of my pajamas were made by her, hehe. 😀 Once she’s better she’s going to help me make a colourful new quilt for my bed. (The one she made me as a child has gotten a little rough around the edges and has been lovingly retired to my hope chest. <3 That blanket is one of my most prized possessions!)
Sending healing thoughts her way! Feel better! Is there somewhere we could send a card?
Sure, I can give you our address via a PM. 🙂
Also because of the complications it looks like she’s going to be in the hospital for longer than originally expected. That sucks, but at least if she’s there she’s in good hands! I can’t wait until she feels good enough to complain about being there. That’ll be a great day. 😀

January 27, 2016 at 3:43 am in reply to: 96037's Art Thread : Tigers and Wolves and Hummingbirds! Oh my! #940682That’s such wonderful news, congratulations!! 😀 I’ve thought of trying to build up a bunch of paintings to try to get them into a gallery before but I don’t have any studio space to paint. I wish you all the best, I hope your gallery show is a tremendous hit! 😀

Nope XD and it’s a good thing because they’re super adorable! (And intensely fluffy.) Although the English translation wrongly calls them raccoons in the movie, a great (if slightly weird) tanuki film is Pom Poko, by Studio Ghibli. 😀
Probably MUCH better pets than actual raccoons.

These are really gorgeous, crazy nice colours! 😀
EDIT: flame it, I caved. I remember my mom looking at these on Facebook and absolutely loving them (she made a point of showing them to me which means she absolutely adores them) and I just couldn’t stand it. She’s having SUCH a rough time right now what with being in hospital, having her horrid surgery and I shouldn’t have done it finance-wise, because I’m still pretty well in debt, but I just killed off a good 1/3 of the debt anyway and soooo I ordered her a purple/cyan cougar just now and I’m going to tell her that I saved up for it with excess gas money. (My car is ridiculously fuel efficient so that’s not a fib. I usually only use 2/3 of my allotted gas money every month.) I’ll give it to her for mother’s day when she’s feeling better. (Thinkin’ super positive. 🙂 )
Gah!
