Splitting the batch into morning and afternoon halves is a great idea, Jenn. I missed the Aug 30 batch and the following 24 babies because I work an afternoon/evening shift.
Also, I would love to see a GB young uni class photo, once they’re all done.
Yeah, I seem to recall seeing more natural horse colors on the cart as well. I think the ones we saw on the livestream were skewed toward the weirder looking unis, probably because at one point we asked to see the craziest one for entertainment value.
Dragon61, my jaw is on the floor from looking at your collection. It is absolutely outstanding. You should charge admission to see your dragons!
I think there was a limited edition of 10 CP old warriors. I know Wolfen has one. I think there are pictures of it in the Show Off Your Collection topic.
I think they are refering to the emerald male in the eBay auction, who indeed appears to be a legit orange-eye, and not the normal red-eyed one that jackid55 is selling.
I have an idea: Instead of giving first pick to the person whose name is drawn first, second drawn gets second pick, etc., you could make it a true grab bag. Don’t post any pictures of the GB babies you have, and choose who gets which baby at random. That way, the three people drawn can experience the same curiosity and anticipation as the people who were able to snag one from the store. I think the element of surprise is part of the fun. 🙂
Also, this way no one could whine, “Aw, I wish I got first pick”, because they wouldn’t know what the other baby unis look like (until they get posted in the GB baby uni thread, that is ;)).
I just thought I’d bring this up as an option. I’m just happy to be in the running.
I agree with Drag0n, I think spectral eyes are the way to go. She would look so intense with those mysterious globe eyes shining in the dark.
That old warrior has a real earthy look; I like him. 🙂 Oh, how I wish I had deeper pockets so that I could justify spending so much on one dragon.
Also, I bet he’s the only “sepentine” OW. I just want to take a marker and fix that on his felt pad. 😛

I think splitting the batch into two groups put up at different times on the same day is a good idea. It certainly would have helped me!
And I like the class photo too. It gives us the chance to work out a rough probability of what we might get, which is useful if a person is waffling about whether to buy, or how many to buy.
