Damn…. thats scary !! Yah, Id be glad to that I was on the 2nd floor at least… but still nerve wracking !
Both of ours went out today, but the post office jipped us. I couldn’t find a smaller box so they charged us $45.00 for a 5 lb package cause supposedly they do not do standard post to canada anymore. I honestly think that its cause the box is larger than 12 inches but he said a smaller box would not have made a difference. Anybody else have this problem? I think its a bunch of bull. Someone else told us we should have fedex or ups’d it but i always hear bad stories about that in canada. -_- not my week at all……:(
Ohhh…. that sucks! I went to USPS and did some price comparison and it seems the MAX weight for a smaller rate package is 4 lbs…. and anything over 4 lbs comes us as more pricey to ship. A smaller box may have weighed less, but I dont think it would have been any cheaper unless you could have gotten it below 4 lbs. Maybe something to keep in mind next time you ship.
Im in Canada myself, and find it was easier to ship online as well. I got myself a cheap kitchen scale which weighs most items I ship out, and print my shipping labels at home. This way I find I can play around with weight if I have to, and size (with diff boxes etc) to try and get the cheapest method 😉
Personally I hate it when I get packages sent to me with UPS or FedEx etc… cause one never knows WHEN they will show up with your parcel, and if your not home when they arrive, well they cant card it into your mail box, they have to leave a note stuck to your door. And their pick-up facility where I have to go to get it, is more often than not a long distance away from me, and it can be a big pain trying to find the time to go get it… but thats me personally 😉
Its 253 MB, my current video that is. But Im not sure Im going to use that one yet, I may make another one when I get my next poad, and I will see how that video turns out. Either way I will still need a way to send these. I know I can upload to google cloud via my gmail, but Im not sure if the person I send it to can download it to use, or just view it.
Uh, if some of you could check my main list and let me know if the current location is wrong, that would be great so I can update it. My brains a little lost right now. I think I also accidentally removed a couple people from the waiting list that had not gotten fuzzies yet. Can anyone help me out here? Also, I have no problem with you guys finding someone to swap with yourselves if you want, I just need to know where they are at and where they are going if can keep me posted. 🙂

How have people been compressing the video file to email it in? I cant seem to get it compressed to be able to send it… WinRar and 7zip just dont compress it at all… and gmail wont let me send it… any tips ?

Thanks ! The red dots really threw me off, as i didn’t see any like that in the class pics or on the live stream that I can remember. I do love him 🙂
So my first Hoppy… have another on the way (and a Hippie which Mom got me for Christmas, so I wont see that till then, lol !)
So figured Id post some pics of the first guy… he is awesome !! I kinda wanted darker eyes, but his colors are soooo nice, Im thinking he is a keeper 🙂 I went out in the stairway here in my apartment building to get some shots in the direct sunlight, so there is some glare on him from the sun, but it shows off his colors well also 🙂
Very nice! Love those colors, and I agree, come antiquing, or some details added to the scales, would make it pop more 😉
Congrats ! That was a great pic, really made me chuckle and the water in the background really suited it. Kinda looked like “puss-in-boots” to me 🙂 And the little parrot Tadpoad was so cute !
I also had possibly wanted another of these for Christmas 🙁 I had so much fun painting my first kitsune, that I wanted more to try!
