I never knew about the ‘fake fingernails’ for cats. My older female cat gets SO excited when a new cardboard box comes into the house. Its like catnip for her! All our boxes have the corners scratched up. She doesn’t care for scratching posts too much, but she LOVES boxes. Now if I can only get her to stop licking herself so much!
(She’s licked all her fur off and licks so much she bleeds. We took her to the vet, and he gave us pills and shampoo. She hates both with a passion and she’s such a tender hearted and sweet happy cat, she has such a look of betrayal and hurt in her eyes after I bathed her the once, or after I try getting a pill past her tounge. I’m thinking of getting her a cat sized shirt to cover herself with so she cant lick!)
I’ve began noticing that too. That’s one of the reasons I don’t want to get the peacock OW. I guess you could find a store with a great return policy, or call the store and ask specifically about the color.
I THINK Ebay charges you depending on how high you set your reserve, plus they charge you a final value fee(a percentage of what your item sells for) they charge an insertion fee of $1 or $2, and I think they charge you on how high you start your bid, even with a reserve. I know $0.99 and under is free or maybe $0.01, and over $50, its something like $10 or $20. I dont know why anybody sells on ebay. Then paypal charges you to receive money….the whole thing is a scam, if you ask me.

Was the Spectral ever available from somewhere for less than $130? I’ve seen a few cheaper prices than Grandio’s and Armik’s $130, but once you add shipping it evened out or was more.
That’s a good question why it costs more than the male. I never thought about that.I found it for $123, and I think that’s about the best I’m going to find. Armiks matches prices, so next time I order from them, I’m just going to send them a link and they can sell to me for that price. Not much difference, but every little bit helps 😆
I must say, I got a bottle of $0.99 Elmer’s glue…and so far it’s holding! 😯 I was so shocked! I glued a chunk about 2 inches long, back onto my Emp’s tail, and I could pick up the tail and gently shake it and the piece stayed!!
I just glued his tail to the rest of his body tonight, so tomorrow night, I’m going to see if I can scoot him and pick him up without the tail falling off. I still can’t belive that Elmer’s run-of-the-mill glue works better than professional glue or Super Glue! wow…
Edit:I AM indeed able to pick up the fellow without his tail falling off! I’ve done it about 3 times, I’m just so shocked! His tail is very heavy, maybe about the same weight as the young unicorn or a a bit more than a fledgling or young dragon. And it STILL STICKS! I think it does expand a bit, but not as much as super glue.
They took the Rainbow mother off the site for a while too. I just checked and noticed SHE HAS RETURNED!! 😯 I probably won’t buy my Rainbows and Peacocks from them though. As it is, I think $130 is steep for the Spectral 😆 Oh well, he’s next on the list 😈
LOL I love the pictures of him with a backpack on 😀 and the pictures of the Grand Canyon. He looks so natural in ALL of the photos you took. Like he actually really belongs there. I’ve got Misty and Stormy around somewhere.

I’ve decided to part with my little griffin.
He was painted with artist acrylics, but not sealed. He has purple interference paint on his foot scales and silver paint on his beak and claws, and he will be signed on the bottom by me. I’m asking $40 for him, or trade for any other unpainted PYO creature, including another unpainted Griffin. I don’t think he’s worth one of the production dragons, but if anyone likes him that much, and has one trade, I’m open to other offers as well. (Still missing the peacock/rainbow/black gold fledglings)
If you want me to add anything to him, stripes, spots, etc, I can try. He is my first PYO.

What about if you paint a PYO with a Windstone color scheme and trade it to another board member for another Windstone piece? No money is being made/exchanged for the painted statue, and we all know what is real Windstone.
Well, I must say that with all the talk of broken Windstones and evil post offices…that is why you dont ship Windstones USPS. Use either UPS or FedEx, and that way they wont get broken in the first place. Although….I did have a black griffin who’s ears got broken off thanks to UPS. That alone has destroyed my trust in them. He was MINT too. (Luckily the repair job worked out fine)
I’m still scared about my green Emp! I’d rather have the dragon than the money, but if he gets broken, he either gets to go home repaired with one of you guys or back to the shipping company. 3 broken Emperors would be way too many.
