I was planning on fixing her, just because I can get more $$ that way. I’m all for being nice to forum members, but I really am pretty broke just now, and I have buy a wolf PYO and maybe a curled dragon…
Properly hazel ought to be light brown with hints of some other color. (I, for example, have hazel eyes which are light brown with streaks of green in them.)
The problem is that when there’s a new post in annoucements, it doesn’t show unless you go in there. Unlike here, where the topic is highlighted when new posts are in it.
Awesome.
So… how many? And if they’re not the right eye colors, do you still want that many? (I can’t see anywhere where they’ve said what eye color they’ll be…)
Oops, nevermind! I see the eye color thing now. I guess the question is how many of which, then.
Well, I have the funds to get them, but I shall insist on you paying me back for them ASAP!!!
Drag0n – so… do you want me to try and buy some for you, or no?
If you’re after a brown mother, once I get the one I just bought fixed (she has a broken toe) I think I’ll be selling her.
I was going to keep her, but with the wolf PYOs and the cowpie dragon going up tomorrow, I’m going to need extra money.

I thought of that actually, but I didn’t get anyone to volunteer.
I could buy one for you, Drag0n.

For example, I have co-workers who wouldn’t blink an eye at spending $300+ for a new cell phone, I-Pod thingy, or other electronic gadget. They see their “investment” as being more practical since you can actually do things with the gadgets, while our pretty stuff just sits there and collects dust.
I’m not keen on Pocket Dragons or other nick-nacks, but I can also understand why some people spend the money for them. I really don’t think we have a place to talk.
My mom keeps telling me that eventually I’ll get tired of dusting my Windstones, and boxing them up to move them, and they’ll just become a bother. I tell here she’s crazy.
She has absolutely no idea at all how much I’ve spent on them though. If she did, she’d have a heart attack, I think. She is a huge believer in being practical, and spending that much money on something you can’t wear, eat, or otherwise use is totally foreign to her.
Oh no…. I have the money. But I shouldn’t! But… augh!
Well, but I don’t want to spend all the energy and time that goes into painting up a practice whatever and then just throw it away, you know? I want to find something I actually like to begin with, just that’s not so expensive that it’s intimidating. And as I said above, most horses that I see I just don’t care for very much.
Ah! That’s good to know. It’s hard to find stuff on ebay if you don’t know the terms. Just searching for “horse” is impossible, and so many people don’t put “unpainted” in the description, even if it is!
Resin = a material. I know it’s come to mean something else in the model horse world, but resin is what it’s made out of.
I’m not looking for something to collect, just something that’s made out of resin, the same stuff as the “resins” you’re thinking of, so I can practice and find if I like working on it or not. I know perfectly well that this hasn’t got a thing to do with the model horse world. I just wanted to know, because I thought the reason “resins” were so expensive was the cost of casting them, how something made of the same material can be so much cheaper, and if anybody knows of something wrong with this other than that it’s obviously mass-produced.
Aieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Actually, I’d probably survive, but my boyfriend has a far lower tolerance for cute, and he might not make it. In which case I’d have to declare blood feud against you and find some way to avenge him. *grins*
Yeah, I probably will get the pegasus, eventually. I probably shouldn’t for a bit though, between repair stuff and minifigs, and the Christmas PYOs I’m doing I have tons of painting to do already.
Thanks for the input though!
