I splurged again to try my luck at one that calls to me. I’ll be putting this one up for trade too. She’s pretty, but just not in love. Feel free to PM me. I’m hoping to find one that looks classic orange, white, black koi, but am willing to check out anything. You don’t always know what will strike you. 🙂
I started out as a color collector. I’ve only been collecting for a few years since seeing my first Windstone piece. Figures I’d fall in love with copper patina! Needless to say, I’m doing some venturing outside of that color and have little hope of ever completing my CP dragon family. We’ll see!! I’d jump on yours given the opportunity. 😉
I second what others have said. If you’re not ready to part with them, definitely don’t. I’m in a situation where all my Windstones are hidden away in their boxes as I don’t have a place to display them right now. I’m still ordering them, take them out of their boxes and admire them, take photos, then say my apologies as I pack them back up again to be stowed. :'( I’m sure looking forward to having a dragon room!
I was surprised to see some of these beautiful GB mother koiled (lol) dragons still available. This one is pretty yellow and black with gold accents. I was hoping for a more classic koi coloring with the whites, oranges or browns, and blacks. I really like Anne’s fishy one. If anyone is willing to trade, please PM me with pics.
I’m still a little confused about how we can select a special poad if the images available are limited. It’s not hugely important, but would be cool to request one that called to me.
I’m just happy to be involved.

The oddballs are cool, too. The class photo didn’t do them justice! I like seeing everyone’s pictures.
My first grab bag! I always miss out on these because of work, but was pleasantly surprised to find there were some left over. Exciting not knowing what will show up! I like the splash of yellow/orange color on the chest, but wish the gem stood out more. Still a lovely piece. If someone absolutely loves this one, send me a message and I’ll consider trading.
Pastel rainbow is very pretty. I was dying to win the spectral in pastel rainbow and got sniped! 🙁 Would definitely like to see this as LPs too!
I must throw my squeak in there too! Absolutely love the copper patina on the dragons and the griffins. I’m hoping to someday have complete family sets, but we’ll see how that goes. I’m particular to the version 2. Absolutely stunning and as all say, pictures just do not do them justice. I’m always awed when I open a newly acquired Windstone.
I eagerly await those notification emails! 😉
Love CP! Especially with the purple. I keep hoping to see its been made a production color.
