Guys, let’s be fair, not everyone is on the forums all the time and Pepper/Sela has a LOT going on right now and probably has no idea this topic exists. In fact, I never knew she had an account here until now. o__O But then again, nowadays I only show up once in a blue moon! (Being in a Windstone Addiction Center when you don’t have the $$$ to buy any sort of Windstone is often torturous!)
But I digress. I know it sounds impossible to most of you that a person would not be around the forums when they win a raffle, but sometimes, especially when life isn’t being too kind to you, certain things fall through the cracks.
I’m sorry if that sounded touchy, but my self-censoring circuit is massively broken lately. 😛
What a lovely surprise! I do have to admit my first thought was “holy crap, Melody remembered my address finally!” XD
It is BEAUTIFUL and I’ve been meaning to ask where I can send a card for you, my cards should finally be coming from the printers tomorrow. (PM me here or on Twitter…I need to give you my new email, anyway.)
Ah, heh, I came to say I found the two you said you knew you were missing in the blog (the Sea Fire Mermaid cover and the Rock Dragon cover) but I see kitsunelady already has pics of those. 😉 Those are the only ones I have, fuu.
When I got the Sea Fire brochure with my first Windstone– the griffin candlelamp I would just stare at the black male griffin longingly at times; you guys had just retired them when I got started! I ended up getting the last griffin candlelamp at Armiks.com! Totally got lucky there. XD (I also consider being able to snag a black griffin for $75 BIN on eBay within fifteen minutes of it being posted on eBay terribly lucky…but now I’m getting off topic.)
Oh, yeah, both of my brochures do have stickers labeling what websites they came from- Armiks and Astral Castle. I’m guessing the big white rectangle is just for that kind of purpose, and for some reason I think it’s interesting so I can remember where they came from. But I’m amused by simple things. X)

Unfortunately for now I have no main website for my story. I have a hard enough time getting my personal portfolio up between commissions! I suppose I should, if only just to showcase all the art myself and others have done for it.

Oh! It’s actually my own art and character. I have a little fantasy story “pet project” that features that little bird-bot in my avatar. I also have a couple gryphons and oriental dragons in the mix, too. A weird little “urban fantasy” (for lack of a better term) but it’s my baby. X)
And again, thanks. I’m afraid it wasn’t the best day (my mother has had pneumonia for weeks now, and today she had to be rushed to the doctors to get treatment for a blood infection they found in her lab results) but life goes on, birthday or not, I guess. 😉

Oh MAN that’s awesome. So far I only have two Zunis, a coyote (of course!) and an eagle. Doode…if you ever seen Colin Weeka’s eagles…they’re so awesome. This one even has a strange pattern in the stone that makes it look like there’s a crescent moon on her wings. 😮
There’s also a guy who does great raven ones in jet stones but they always pop up on eBay when I don’t have money. 😛
I DO have a stone carved gryphon, it isn’t a Zuni, but I love it nonetheless. I also got my mom a unicorn carved in tiger’s eye for her birthday last year. :>

This is all I really have to show for now, though. I should have more soon…this is for Golden-Gry, who’s waiting patiently for kiriban art on dA. I decided to use her to make some example art for some $10 commissions I’m offering in this style. (All ballpoint pen on cardstock.)I rather like how it turned out. I hope I get to do more, especially fantasy critters. *nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more*

But yes, there you go, guys, I do Short Circuit fanart, and even though I keep on saying I’ll stop I keep doing it. I generally prefer to do this, mainly because I have a huge pile of art that’s outgrowing my storage area. I’ve tried to sell miscellaneous originals in the past, but that didn’t really work. Nobody was really interested. I can’t sell my fanart, obviously. I do make prints of a lot of the better art pieces, a lot of which had been posted here. Lastly, I do offer commissions, a lot of which you are seeing here (like I said) but I never really felt comfortable advertising commissions here.I hope that answers your question. ^_^
Hahah, for a while when I was going to garage sales and Goodwill stores a lot I shamelessly bought a LOT of Lion King plushies and OLDSKOOL Beanie Babies (I like them as toys, not collectibles that sit in plastic boxes) all the time, kids be darned. Oh well, there were always tons more Beanie Babies and other plushes on sale wherever I went anyway. XD THE KIDS HAD PLENTY.
But yeah one look at my room and you can pretty much tell I have a bad case of Peter Pan Syndrome…
Back before I got my black male griffin and was searching for them EVERYWHERE on eBay but failing, I had tons of those garage sale dreams. Then when I finally snagged one I had dreams about getting it in the mail. XD I COULDN’T WAIT.
I still sometimes dream about the mother griffin gargoyle. I pretty much gave up on getting that one. 🙁
BACK ON TOPIC: I adore my card! It’s sitting next to the monitor right now! I love cards with the sender’s art on them, I’ve gotten a few from friends and they’re always special. <3 I may just have to get a little frame for these guys, they're too pretty to stuff away in storage after the holidays.
