From the “Windstone Editions Fan Club (Official)” Facebook page – two “Name That Dragon” color schemes with polls for names on the Facebook page and a test paint Secret Keeper.
First “Name That Dragon” – Gina says, “The ‘white’ is actually Pearl dusted with light gold.”
Second “Name That Dragon” – Gina says, “I like the naming convention of ‘Black ———’ so keep that in mind for the second guys”
And … a “Desert Opal” Secret Keeper with some “Moonstone” dragons in the background.
Well, my first thoughts were “Electric Barn Swallow” and “Black Hole,” haha! 🙂
But I’m actually going to suggest “Bright Sunset” and “Black Flare,” because the former looks like a deep night sky lit from underneath with sunset colors, and the latter looks like a fancy fireworks display with colored trails and bursts.

I had a friend with a Kirin family when I was around 10-14, and thought they were really beautiful but I couldn’t afford Windstones at that age. It was a few years later when I fell head-over-heels in love with the White dragons in a store called Glass Menagerie. I saved up for months, then bought the White mother. (I could have saved less, and bought the Young or Hatcher, but I wanted my first one to be one of the big dragons!)
She was followed by the Young, and the Male, and most of the rest of the White family over the years. I remember being so excited when the Lap/Scratcher/OW came out – more Windstones to collect! Just as I was running out of White pieces to save up for.
Then one day I went into a Tinder Box intending to order a White dragon, and fell in love with a Peacock Oriental on the shelf; I ordered the White but also walked out with the Oriental, starting a whole new branch of my collection. 🙂

Snerl PYO sounds fantastic, especially if he’s in scale with the Kitty Griffin PYO! Then again, Snerls painted by Melody & co. would also be awesome…

Well, I have a PYO griffin I bought in, uh, 2008?? And still haven’t finished it…
On the other hand, I think it took me 2 days to finish my first PYO Kitty Griffin, and the second day was just sealing it and glueing in the eyes and stone.
So I guess my answer is “somewhere between 2 days and 13 years” – whatever that averages out to! XD

I wish there were a way to join waitlists for things that don’t exist yet, though. 😀 I keep hoping for Lap Dragons in Elven (and any other color they haven’t had yet!), Sitting Orientals and Moon Orientals in Peacock, Color Shift Pebble Fennecs, Silver and Black (like the Cougars, not Sparkle) Lady Cats, & Black Rainbow griffins…
