Melody, all the wolves were so beautiful! Would you consider doing a Fennec GB along the same lines, next time you want to do a Pebble GB? (You know: if you haven’t gone blind yet from all that amazing silhouette work!) 😀
I had such a hard time resisting these wolves, I *know* I wouldn’t be able to resist Fennecs!

Not trouble, exactly, but it often gives me double captchas – do I somehow just seem really, really suspicious to the bot-detection algorithm?? I’m bewildered as to why I’m being given double math homework! 🙂

Adding my squeak to the chorus — I’d be thrilled to see production MU Laps appear! My poor lonely Brown is the only one in a ‘natural’ color, so he’d probably love to have a buddy. 😀

Oooooooh, pretty! Tig3r06, you have my absolute favorite GB Cougar in the whole world! 😀 And that Tanzanite OW is gorgeous, too…
Whites are my long-time faves, though, so I’m definitely in love with your White trio in the background, too! The White Hatching Empress is one of the few Whites I don’t have yet; she’s so cute with her Kinglet cousin! 😀
Curio cabinets are nice, but they look good on the pale (dresser? shelf?) – with so many colors in the collection, the neutral surface doesn’t clash with anybody or draw attention to itself. Not a bad display at all!

I’m so excited to hear that Pebble Dragons are heading toward casting! They’re going to be so cute. 🙂
I’m pleased that everybody else is pleased about grab bags, but I really can’t afford one unless it’s something small (yeah, I’m still hoping for another run of natural GB Sitting Red Foxes — or a restock of Smoke, or a natural-Black release like the Cougar got!)

I’m more like Etruscan, but in different order.
1 – Sign in. If not expecting any PMs (no sales or purchases in progress) go to the forums.
2- Scroll through the forum list to the General Windstone section. Open it and look at ‘last reply’ times on threads; read interesting topics that have had replies since my last visit (usually it’s the Ebay Pictures Thread, and sometimes the Show Your Colllection, Conga Lines, and the latest Grab Bag Show Off threads) and then any smaller, more specific topics that have cropped up.
3- Scroll through the forum list to the Ask Melody section. Read the latest ‘What’s Next On The Schedule’ replies (this seems to be only consistently updated thread) and any new threads.
4 – Scroll through the forum list and look at ‘last reply’ times for the other sections – are there new replies/topics in the Store Discussion or News or PYO? (If it’s the end of the month, poke around for raffle details.)
5 – Assuming there aren’t any new-release announcements I need to run to the Store immediately for 🙂 , browse the Classifieds for ‘for sale’ items.
6- Got to my account and check PMs. Update any of my Classifieds that are expiring.
7- Not part of the regular schedule, but if at any point during the above something comes up that’s on the blog (grab bag class photos, new sculpt previews, raffle items), I either open it in a new tab or swing by quickly before resuming the usual process.
8- Wistfully sigh about all the beautiful things I can’t afford, and/or resolve yet again to take new pictures of my [conga line/kirin family/griffin flock/] or finish my [repair/PYO piece in progress] !  😛

I’m loving the “Pfau-gasi” family! Those bold eye markings are really striking on the pegasus sculpts; I think I like this scheme better on the pegs than on the dragons, though both were pretty!

Haha, wow, I missed this reply by a mile! Sorry. Yes, I am planning to keep her! Believe it or not, I didn’t have a single Peacock piece before I got this girl, so I’m really happy to have one of what I think of as the ‘original’ colors (original, anyway, to the time frame where I first discovered Windstone).
I really need to get some updated pictures, too! Guess this thread must have gotten buried or something after I started it; I didn’t even remember posting it! *facepalm*

I really love the two different Brown males – not just their shading, but their facial markings are also so different! Neat. I wonder if there’s some way to decipher whether one is older than the other, and who came first?

I would probably just decide to sell the piece (cheaply!) or work out a way to display the piece that hides the damage. It depends on how much effort I’ve already put in, I think. 🙂 There are things where I think, “Oh, I can fix that!” and I’m either right or wrong; and there are things where I know right off that I can’t fix it. (For example, I don’t have the stuff to make molds, so if I need to create a significant body part by taking a mold from an intact piece, I know it’s past my skill level).
If it’s something I have struggled with repairing and kept messing up, I’d probably opt to sell because seeing it would frustrate me – too much reminder of wasted effort. If it’s something I knew right away I couldn’t fix and didn’t really try, I’d be more inclined to go for “display creatively,” and sell only if it was really too damaged to look good from any angle.
(Bodine, you might be thinking of my ad! My Lap Dragons Wanted ad does mention that I’m in the market for Laps with mild-to-moderate damage to practice my repair skills on! So far I’ve fixed up an Emerald with minor claw chips and paint loss, a Ruby with a broken horn mount, a Peacock with a broken face, and an Em-Pea with a broken face + couple of missing face scales + chip in wing! I want to work my way up to things that require more sculpting skill, and I figure I’ll get better quicker if I work with the same sculpt over and over. Laps are my favorites, so it’s also a useful way to add more Laps to the conga without breaking the bank.)
