Definitely “silvery silver” and not “intense black silver”. It almost looks more like the “overcast” color Gina did a while back.

Any chance of Autumnal or Halloween themed grabs in the near future. (I don’t really expect it as it looks like you’ve been very busy with other projects, but figured it didn’t hurt to ask. 😉 )

I am having the casters make a batch of pebble wolves to do as pumpkin spice wolves! I hope I’ll have time to do them.
The African Wild dog hippogriffs I am working on now will probably take me a few more weeks, that leaves only a short time to get pebble wolves painted before Halloween!

I’m sure no one would mind if the pumpkin spice wolves are a little late. Of course, winter wolves would be super gorgeous too.

I like the blue eyes with the Carnelian because it picks up the blue accents in the scales. Metallic gold eyes would be pretty too and pick up the gold accents.

Those cranberry ones look like the darker pieces in the ruby collection.

I still don’t understand the complaint against “snipping” like it’s some crime. It’s not the person with the fastest internet that wins an auction – It’s the Highest Bid. Doesn’t matter when it arrives, as long as it arrives before the auction is over. Bidding late or early – the person who is willing to pay the most, wins. That’s just how auctions work.

Agreed. All “sniping” does is not allow the next highest bidder to decide they really don’t need to pay the rent this month after all. 😆 I do tend to wait to bid till near the end unless I am going to be away from the internet for a while, specifically because I don’t want to talk myself into being willing to pay more than my high bid.

Happy Birthday! Your Ki-rin babies are beautiful. I keep hoping that they will do a new production color for those. If they do Atlantis that might work for one. Several of your babies have teal or copper bits. I’ve been wanting a Koi male to go with my family. They are mostly koi-ish. I have a koi momma, but she wouldn’t look right with yours and has gunmetal eyes.

There is a Windstone cat gargoyle that looks like that. It is no longer in production. The finish looks a bit weird to me, but that could just be the photography. I can see a chip in the wing on the left side, but that could be repaired. I think this is a picture from one of the old brochures :

This one was on eBay recently:

I think there is a list of people offering repair services on here somewhere. I know Drag0nfeathers is excellent and has lots of experience with the stone texture. One of her cats likes to eat the faces off of her dragon bookends so she has repaired them multiple times. She fixed a totally smashed piece for me (knocked off a mantle onto a slate hearth) and it looks good as new. She is the only one I have direct experience with, but I think any of the folks offering repair services will do a good job. There’s a lot of artistic types on this forum.

She’s pretty big. My suggestion: Do a waitlist like was done with the qi-lins. Give people a week or so to sign up. After it is closed, draw random names from the list. One at a time, notify each person and give them a couple of days to choose from the remaining ones or pass. After all are chosen, email the rest of the list letting them know that they weren’t drawn that time, and keep the names on the list to give priority to the next batch if there is one. This way there wouldn’t be a need to trade, and we wouldn’t crash the website trying to be first on the list because the names would be chosen randomly.

Or you could just put them up on eBay and let us duke it out. 😂

I think that color is mostly retired. They did a batch of standing babies a little while back, but I think that was because it was a newer sculpt that didn’t exist when that color was being produced. They show up secondhand on eBay and places like Facebook Marketplace pretty often.

Cute Qi-lin! I’ve been wanting a red old warrior. Maybe a round of sculpts in the Carnelian color that was only done on the hearth dragon I think? A round of glacier would be really nice too! Aren’t I greedy 😆.

This one doesn’t have antiquing but:

                              A4391DA8-EC3C-46E3-8BBE-43F5A1F19FDC
Think a fairly bright opaque red that’s a little on the orange side.

Cinnabar red would be a great color for these! I don’t usually like black antiquing, but on cinnabar it would look good. I realize it was probably photoshopped in, but I really liked the less orange eyes in the original test paint picture. Maybe metallic straw would be close?
