I got mine, I don’t like it at all. Tiger striped which is pretty much worst case scenario for me.
If you like tiger stripes with a lacey overlay, feel free to message me. It’s too much hassle for me to post a photo from my phone.
I’d also sell for store price + shipping.
This is a hard one for me right now because I’m preparing to move and any pieces I don’t sell or trade will have to go into my very limited storage space until we can get settled into a new house.
I like all my swap pieces, but keeping them means prioritizing them over pieces I’ve purchased – but at the same time I don’t want to offend anyone. 🙁
It’s hard having to significantly downsize your collection. 🙁

Yes, true – we can’t fix a transaction gone south, but we can make suggestions/try to help/recommend if it’s time to escalate to John. 🙂
Honestly, I don’t think any discussions about trade/sale issues should be happening on the forum at all. If you can’t resolve the issue via PMs, then contact a moderator.
If it’s a case where you’re not actually out anything (i.e. you haven’t sent money and not gotten a piece or you haven’t sent a trade and not gotten your piece in return), then just let it go.
It stinks when a sale or a trade falls through, but no one owes anyone a trade or a sale in either direction. If a piece is theirs, it’s theirs to do with what they please. Leave feedback on the list if appropriate, but then move on. If you have a bad experience, don’t deal with that person again.

Pam, Jen, and I are the official “scatterbats” and we can help with some items. You’re always welcome to contact us for any reason. If it’s something we can’t handle, we can involve the higher-ups to step in and do what is needed. We’re always happy to help. I am not on the forum as much as I used to be, but PMs do go to my email address and as long as it’s awake hours in the Pacific Coast, I will respond to all messages promptly.
Please, everyone, I know forum drama stresses Melody out – it is ALWAYS better to get help with a problem rather than causing drama. And the staff is very willing to do all they can to resolve issues.
Congrats on the car! 🙂 We have the same model and color (though probably much older) and it’s a very solid, reliable car. My husband uses it for commuting. We’ve had ours for, um, I guess 7ish years now and over 100K miles with no major issues. The Yaris is a nice little car. 🙂 My oldest son will probably inherit ours in a few years.
Do your cabinets have doors? They make some really cool magnetic locks you can use that don’t look too awful (and aren’t impossible for adults to use either).
Oh my goodness, more spam bots with a million postings under Ask Melody! I thought there was something wrong with my computer when I saw the Chinese writing! Please delete them!
There were so many spam posts when I signed in, I couldn’t even see this posting. 🙂
They should all be down now, but we may get hit again since it was multiple users. I’ve sent an email to some of the more knowledgeable admins to help with blocking the IPs to hopefully prevent more fake accounts from the same group.
There were over 1000 bad posts. I’ve never seen that many before!

I have to go back to work on 9/14 and I’m not ready! I know I’m blessed I got to take 10 weeks off with pay (this is a million times better than with my other babies), but I didn’t expect to be so reluctant to go back. I was totally fine with my first two and I’m working at home this time with in home day care so I’ll see Mal all the time and yet…
Just thinking about going back to work makes me kind of sad. *whine*
Are we allowed to use any types of filters on our photos? IE, lightening/darkening/enhancing colors, etc. In post processing?
