I have the same peacock fledgling but mine doesn’t have any blue or green on the front chest stripe, just pink and purple so it looks like yours was painted a little differently. They paint a bunch at a time in a batch and then may not release another batch for a while so if some are painted months or years later, their colours can vary a bit. They don’t make this colour scheme anymore. They only have emerald Peacock available now so yours is special.

I have been kind of curious about how old some collectors are. I bought my first peacock fledgling dragon when I was about 14 so 15 years ago when they came out. I am now 29. I recently just started acquiring more Windstone pieces this year. I did have 14 pieces but sold 4, have another 2 to sell, just traded a little poad and 2 are paint your own dragons I will be painting shortly. I also have one little Griffin coming in the mail and will be ordering 4 more pieces shortly. This is getting exciting! I really want to get a rainbow fledgling dragon if anyone knows anyone who will trade or sell one. I am also looking for a young white unicorn, a mother white pegasus and any grab bag poads or unicorns for sale or trade.

Thanks for the welcomes. I figure everyone has a story but I like hearing how people go through struggles and overcome them so thought I’d share. It’s been a tough lesson I’ve learned but I know it was a lesson in humility and in a weird way I am grateful I learned it because I now know what’s most important in life which to me are close relationships with family and friends and valuing people more than possessions. That’s not to say we can’t cherish our collections but I think the point is to help others in acquiring something that makes them happy and to be supportive of others, which this site and forum are good examples of including interacting with others and trading things each person would like to get so it’s a win win for everyone. I don’t think collecting items like these would be as fun without the opportunity to interact with and meet others. It’s a great idea! I especially love the idea of the mystery of the grab bags and being able to trade with others. It’s been a happy experience so far. Now I will be even happier if I can get a unicorn this time. 🙂

I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a personal payment. I always bill items as goods but I have a merchant account too so not sure if there’s even an option on there for that. That’s interesting and something to watch for if people mention that.

I love light, pastel and metallic colours on the dragons and the ones with rainbow like colours. My favorite colour schemes I would love to see as production or limited production colours are: pink pearl, blue pearl, blue ice, barn swallow and golden orchid. As well I love the Caribbean, sunset and autumn colour ones but I mostly would love to see blue dragons and pink dragons and maybe ones with yellow especially in the young and fledgling dragons which are the sizes I collect.
I would also love to see more production poads and young poads in pretty multi colour schemes. I love the autumn leaf ones and grab bag ones with wings. Also I think it would be cool to have paint your own poads, young poads, young unicorns, young pegasus and young Griffins. Especially a paint your own poad though I think would be very popular!

These are good ideas. I was looking at the Poads available after getting a grab bag one and was surprised there weren’t many more to buy, especially the young poads.

With Hannah’s help, here are pictures of my poad. I think her colours and details on here stripes and curls are gorgeous. She is up for trade though only because I have been trying to find anything rainbow or very colorful to add to my collection. If you like her and want to trade, message me. I am looking for a grab bag multi-colored poad with wings or a leaf pattern or a love bird pattern or a grab bag unicorn with multi-colours and spots, stripes or animal print or even a rainbow fledgling dragon.

I agree poads are the cutest things! I went from having one dragon to two and then more, then a pegasus, unicorn, Griffin and now a poad! I want to get a bigger one now to match my little one! I love their eyes and creative designs and colours!
