After a ton of hemming and hawing and asking people’s opinions, I decided to change my baby uni’s eye color to blue, and his gem to blue.
This is how he looks now, outside, with metallic blue glass eyes 🙂

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!Just as a warning, because the paint is not fused to the eyes, it’s very possible that the paint will peel off over time, if the eyes are glued in at the back (the way they are normally glued in).
Would coating the back of the eyes the way I topcoat normal windstones help? As far as I know topcoat prevents peeling, I was planning on covering the fronts of the eyes (masking them) and then spraying the backs with a permanent, clear topcoat.

I can get them in 4-14mm sizes 🙂

FINALLY, my very own White Gothic Uni! She’s in absolutely perfect condition except for missing one gem on the nondisplay side – does anyone know where I can get one of these gems? (Or maybe.. Windstone, do you have any of these still hanging around? XD)

I THINK they are the same metallic beige that are in the Peach Poads, but its possible they are the new metallic light yellow. The Zebra has metallic silver eyes 🙂 They definitely do look almost steel grey in person though! Not quite silver in the traditional sense.
In any case, all of these colors are not available as PYO eyes (yet, or ever, I’m not sure if they are planning on changing that selection!). If you are looking for PYO glass eyes, I get some beautiful Metallic Silver and Metallic Gold eyes from this company very regularly:

(that link should take you directly to the page that has the correct type of eyes you’ll want to order for PYOs)I hear they have been slow to ship orders lately, so I would order at least 2 weeks in advance of you needing them. I’ve never had to wait longer than that for production eyes from them, and they are worth the wait! 🙂

Winged Wolf: 4mm
Phoenix, Unicorn: 6mm
Kirin, Small Dragon: 8mm

Especially like Pegasus’ fuzzies on the river stones – they look like they are in motion! Steph’s house is so adorable XD I love that box and invoice – so perfect! And Skeeter – what a beautiful little landscape you made! What is the “water” made of, on the little purple fuzzy island? That looks so cool!! And fatal, yours blend in perfectly 😀 How neat!

If you look closely at the bottom edges (most prominently in the picture that shows the Pena signature, and the one where you can see the hole in the bottom) they are warped and look like they’ve been crudely scraped, as if taken out of a mold (or from a badly made mold).
I am really turned off by the fact that this person is not only NOT listening to people who know what theyre talking about, but that either someone who had no idea what they were talking about or a friend, as was mentioned earlier, made up all this hogwash about it being a test paint.
I have considered sending them a message but I figure at this point it would be a waste of time. I hope something can be done about it though :/
