It looks great so far! You are a much neater painter than I am XD I have the tendency to make mistakes on the white and then go back and fix them later, but yours looks so wonderfully clean!

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!I have a couple of new pieces that I get to share! I need to take better pictures of everything eventually, but I am excited about them so I had to post ^^
First, I traded for this beautiful Raffle prize, Joule! This pic does not do him justice – he is gorgeous!
Secondly, I traded to get two of these Kirins (the gold/green/blue one has been in my possession for a while), one of which was on my #1 favorites list from the first batch of Kirins, and the other was on my #1 list from this second batch! I am so happy with them all 🙂

His color shift looks almost grey from afar, or a light lavender. His eyes are silver, his white fur is filthy with rainbow sparkle paint, and he has little spots of pink and green color shift on his scales. He seems to go from a purple to a greyish teal at different angles. I am so happy with this guy 😀

Contact amazon if the seller is giving you no reply. You don’t want to wait too long and not be able to get refunded if something does indeed go awry or the seller is not being honest. Often a nudge from Amazon will get a response from a seller.

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!Oh my gosh I saw this on DA in the “newest” section. I just happened to be browsing at the exact moment that Melody posted it – it was the third one in on the top row when I happened upon it! XD My heart skipped a beat when I saw it.
I cannot wait to paint these! The horns look fantastic, and perfect for the sculpt. I’ve already got a million ideas in my head for these guys.. I think they are going to be my new favorite PYO sculpt!

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!Safire_blue – Thank you! The rock gave me some trouble because I’ve never been super great at drybrushing, but it seemed to be the best technique to make it look natural. I painted the rock a very dark grey first. After it dried completely, I used an older, blunt brush with stiffer bristles and drybrushed different colors on top of that. If I wanted an area to be more solidly colored, I would push a bit harder with the brush (but still not too hard! I wanted that grey to show through on the cracks). When I wanted to do highlights on an area I’d use a very, very light hand, barely dragging it over the area I wanted highlighted (always remembering to make sure the paint I was brushing over was completely dried!). You may have to do this several times, but it’s worth the effect! And one thing that seemed to work good for me was a technique that I remember from when I used to use colored pencils a lot – which is to basically try not to move your brush in the same direction every time you go over something, but go at it from different angles, or small circles. The caveat to this is that you don’t want to push very hard or you run the risk of getting too much paint on the piece where you don’t want it! Hope this helps 🙂
Meowmix – That’s great! Knowing how beautifully you did your last unicorn, I’m hedging my bets that your dapples will turn out better than mine! 🙂
