A question for those that got one, if you don’t mind sharing, how much was shipping on those lovely ladies?
UPS ground from the Windstone factory to Maryland was $47.99 – I think it varies depending on how far the piece is shipped?
Shipping on mine was $45.03 but I live in southeastern Florida so that was probably the most expensive.
Please try! I’d love to see pictures….
I haven’t been able to figure out how to load pictures for several years. Photobucket used to be so easy till they new and improved? it
Thanks for the warning and I am glad Koda is OK. I have always had my chows (one at a time) on Sentinel but it has been unavailable for almost two years so I switched Spanky to Heartguard. I understand Sentinel will be available again soon but I may leave him on Heartguard because he will eat it and giving him a Sentinel is very difficult and a monthly battle – he hates it. No matter what is roll it in – peanut butter, cream cheese, dog foot, etc. he manages to spit it up.
I am glad to hear you have cheered up a bit a new Windstone will cheer up the worst day. I hope you get a new job soon.
I have one but the shell on mine is white but I like the colored shell look
I got lucky and got the black violet peacock secret keeper and she just arrived and seeing her – in person? – makes me want to get another one or so she is fabulous
The year was 1985 and I had never heard of Windstones until I was visiting a friend of mine and he showed me what his daughter has given him for Christmas -brown male and female Windstone dragons. I immediately fell in love with them and went looking for them for myself. A few months later I was on a group trip to St. Louis, MO and found a shop near the waterfront that had all 3 colors. Of course, I bought the brown pair and held them all the way back to KC,MO so they wouldn’t get broken.
UGH that stinks – getting postponed and still waiting with everything in the air has got to be hard on the nerves (and everything else). Sending positive thoughts your way and hoping everything ends up the way you want it to. Wishing bad luck on your almost ex
So does my dog. A couple of them fell off the shelf and I had to rescue them from Spanky’s mouth. Fortunately very quickly and they were OK.
It is definitely an old green. The coloring on mine is a little different but it is also a very very old one. I got it on ebay a few years ago and paid $425 For it which I thought was a super price. The picture on ebay made it look like a very funny color so I sent the seller a question and she emaied me a better picture you might try that. I also sent the seller an emperor box and prayed it would arrive in one piece which it did.
That is just fantastic of you. I would love to get it by email. I’ll send you a PM.
June 13, 2013 at 7:57 pm in reply to: Is the store having a problem with the Brown Hatching Dragons? #898582I was out of town when they were posted and was (pleasantly) surprised to be able to get one the next day. That is one of my favorite colors so it made me very happy.
I think at 72 1/2 years that I am the oldest member. I bought my first Windstone in 1986. I now have 188. I don’t think you ever get to old to love-em.
That is a beautiful color I would love to see all the dragons painted that color
He looks so happy I am so glad for you and him that he is going to be OK. That is so great of Melody but she always is.
