They are definitely not missed! I live for those little bites! BTW thanks for letting me know that tadpoads make much smaller explosions than adults. Now I know why I keep hearing popcorn noises in my bedroom! XD
THOSE COLORS!!!!!
Purdy Pegasus! Now lets see Melody make a hippogriff! B)
I figured I should have more than one Windstone piece before I could post a collection, but now that I just got a tadpoad why not?
The brown male was my first piece. I found him during the sale night at one of the vendors during the last Great Western War I attended. Got him for a steal of $25! He had a few chips in the paint (mainly missing gold, and the frill on top of his head looks like it was glued back on at one point, but they did a pretty good job. He is missing a chip out of one of the large scales on his tail, and he is missing his felt (it was definitely there at some point). I cleaned him up and re-applied gold paint, plus some dull gold over the chip so now it just looks like a scar (scars are cool). I named him Dusty Coppersky, since I felt he looked more copper than brown, and even after using a paintbrush with water there is still a dust residue between his toes.
Not that my new tadpoad, Pastel Periwonkle, minds. She was absolutely meant to be, since she coordinates with Dusty so well!
I got my poad a while ago, but have been so busy with the wedding coming up on Sunday that I didn’t get around to posting the pictures! This is Pastel Periwonkle, and she is easy to spot in the first class picture, smack dab in the middle of the lower left side. I love her color scheme! She is a combination of my favorite colors, and she coordinates so well with my old brown male dragon, Dusty Coppersky (she brings out his blue/turqouise). Sooo happy!

Sooo many pretties!!! And I love the random sketchies! Wish I could draw like that…
Eeeeee they are so much cuteness I don’t care which color I get!!! Such tiny little skittles! I love how their little tufts of fur are so obviously vestigial remnants of being Vel. The brown one is quite handsome!
Actually that answers my question. Thankies.
YESSSS! I was finally able to buy something I could afford before it ran out! Tiny poad is mine! I hope it’s blue and purple *fingers crossed.*
Hallooo and welcome! Be sure to check out ‘The Veligent’, and please refrain from using ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions in front of any of the poads (for explanation, see ‘the Vegilent’). 😉
Ohhhh, interesting challenge. I’ll have to see about having time for this with the wedding prep and all. What are the limits on including other elements from Windstone/Reptangle?
Oh wow is he handsome! So fluffy!
Hmmm… I have some questions, too.
What colour re Poad eggs?
Are they whitish like “normal” eggs, speckled, or coloured to indicate the colour of the Poad inside?
Can the eggs camouflage themselves when they are two places at once so humans just think they blend into the background? Thanks.
There is no need to camouflage, since poads have no enemies or predators.
Hehe, I think any potential predators have learned by now that an asploding meal does not digest well. 😉
This has officially become my favorite thread. <3
