My 2 cougars are here! I got my number one top pick giraffe, so I’m thrilled. I did a little happy dance at my desk at work, lol. I really wanted to get a teal and purple/pink cougar from the giraffe or fantasy batch, and I got my wish.
My fantasy cougar is really nice too, a Fish and Floats twin, but isn’t my cup of tea, so I’ll be making a trade ad for that one soon.
Congratulations, Tig3r06. That blue and pink serval is one of my top picks.
I can’t wait until my two cougars arrive!
Mary, that giraffe is a knockout, and I love your marbled bengal too. Such a great collection. I think you’ll have no trouble at all finding takers for any cougars you decide to rehome.
Mary, I love your giraffe cougar. I hope I get one just like it!
Yay, I managed to snag a fantasy and a giraffe! Good luck, everyone!
Wow, I never thought I’d see a non-little rock dragon for sale! Is the hollow space inside the rock new? Does this mean we might see more rock dragons?
I’ll echo what a lot of people have mentioned in the Ebay thread: Mountain Frost as a production colour. It would look great on dragons, griffins, pegasi, kirins, etc. It doesn’t look like too complicated a colour scheme for regular production; certainly it’s simpler than rainbow or blue morpho.
I too vote for Mountain Frost as a production color; I think it would do quite well !!
Could see it in Griffins too, or , going out on a limb here ….
Maybe even Adult Poads??
Ooh, griffins in Mountain Frost would be stunning! And of course it looks great on the dragons too. It’s such a nice, pristine-looking colour scheme. I would love to see it as a production colour some day.
The orb by the unnamed dragon’s feet makes me think of magic or divination, which brought the following possible names to mind:
Mystic Dragon
Spellbinder Dragon
Enchanter/Enchantress Dragon
Dragon SageMy personal favourite among those is spellbinder.
Ooh, those ponycorns look so great! Especially the quagga; safari batch soon? 😉 Just kidding, I know I have to be patient.
I told them only 36 of these have been made in that color/eye combo and that the item is delicate and old.
Wow, I didn’t know there were so few of these oris made in this style! They look so different from the later copper patina dragons, with their dark vintage-looking antique and individual scales picked out in different shades of copper and gold. What a rare treasure to find at a Goodwill.
I hope everything works out with the shipping.
Wow, that pink is stunning. Normally the fantasy unis aren’t my thing, but that one is beautiful. Congrats.
CAUTION: SOUR GRAPES AHEAD
I am disappointed that there wasn’t a limit on the GB young unicorns. It’s a bit frustrating to see people posting their grab bags in the show-off thread, some posting 3, 4, or even 5 unicorns per person, when some of us weren’t able to snag a single one. I don’t begrudge the people who bought multiple, since they were well within their rights to do so, but I question the reasoning behind not putting a per person limit on the unicorns, at least for the first day or two. There were only 27 unicorns in the safari batch, an extremely limited number. A limit would have ensured that more than just a handful of people got them. I’m bummed.I’ve been out of the loop for a while, so I didn’t know this grab bag was coming. By the time I saw the notification email, they were all gone. I guess I’ll have to stalk the classifieds for a safari in the near future. This might be the first grab bag where I can count on one hand the ones I wouldn’t be thrilled with and still have fingers to spare.
December 11, 2018 at 2:01 pm in reply to: Show Off Thread – GB Baby Unis 11/21/18 Fantasy, Safari & Natural! #1548044Thanks, everyone. Now I’m just going to find a way to display them that doesn’t make the other cougars and unicorns jealous, since they’re my only matched set. 😉
