Oh, he is not as badly broken as I feared, yay! And we have pieces! This won’t be as bad as you think. Get the seller stuff dealt with & we can get him over here for his restoration. If he can’t be mine, & least I get to put my hands all over him. He can visit with my brown dragons for a few days. 🙂 They will be so nice to him, he won’t want to go home. LOL! Anyway, not near as badly broken as the first pictures made it seem, that’s a relief. So don’t cry anymore, will be okay.
I want to add, his tail is intact! This is a bloody miracle, wings are so much easier to fix!

Nah, I forgot about her, cause she is still stuffed in her box cause I still have your old green Emperor on my desk. She’s safe, if a little uncomfortable still being locked up in her box, poor thing. Let me finish your Emperor & I’ll get her done right after he’s done.

Eh, Drag0nfeathers, folks haven’t been having me do all that much either, which is good, less broken pretties. However, I would be very interested in restoring this dragon. So when the message issues get fixed & the seller gets back to you, let me know if you want me to.

Don’t let that dragon go anywhere! I can fix him, don’t attempt to glue him either, just pack up all the pieces carefully, all the bits you can find & send him here. I will fix him for you. Don’t cry. Message me.

According to Susie, horns are on the back burner & won’t be happening for a while yet. The time it will take out of Melody’s & the mold maker’s schedules right now would be detrimental to other projects they are doing, so horns are at the bottom of the barrel. Sad, I was hoping for PYO unicorns for Xmas, but it is sounding highly unlikely.

Yeah the hospital is not a place they allow you to rest in…annoying, here you are sick, ill or injured, the thing you need most is rest & sleep & you have people bugging you every hour, yeah, gonna get a lot of sleep this way, not. At least out of ICU they should pester him a bit less. But until he gets to come home, he really isn’t going to get as much sleep as he really needs, the hospital environment just doesn’t allow for it sadly. I have never heard of them leaving anyone alone for 8 hours, just not happening. Hopefully he will recover enough to be able to come home soon, then the real recovery can begin.

That is looking awesome, I can’t want to see him with his sealer on, when everything can really show. He is beautiful, I just love the details in the cracked scales, the horns & toes, & the bright magma showing through here & there on the body. Can’t wait to see him finished!

Thanks, yea I noticed a lot of the gargoyles have variation in shades. The paint Melody sent me is very grey, & doesn’t come close to the more tan shading I see on most of my gargoyles. I have just about all of them now.

Great job, sadly my girl is still not finished, but she’s mine & I’ve been busy fixing other people’s goodies. How did you match the paint? Gargoyle color frustrates me, Melody sent me paint to match, but it doesn’t match. YOu did such a good job matching, I thought I’d ask.

He didn’t charge me an hourly rate, he gave me a flat rate of $250, which I think was low, he seemed really interested in doing this piece, so I think he reduced his rates. No, 5 hours from stencil art to finish with a few breaks for bathroom stretching & in his case a cigarette. He says we still have about an hour worth of work left, but we’ll get to that later after I’m healed up.
Actual inking hours were about 3.25 or so.

So sorry this happened, he will find a way around it, if he is as active as you say he is, it is surprising what people can do when they decide they will. Gonna be hard for a while though, all my best to your Dad & you.

Well if I hadn’t been trying to get a Brown Emperor for about 8 years, 6 year while here on WS forum, I wouldn’t be so bitter, about it. But whenever they make an appearance they are always more than I can afford, or snapped up before I ever get the chance. It is very frustrating. Though to be honest $550 is more than I can afford either, but I would have tried.
