I guess it’s kinda detrimental that everyone knows everyone’s ebay name now. If the bidder’s names could be kept anonymous, it’d sure be nice huh?
Yeah, we like it when the prices go sky high! : D
The plain white was a prototype, like a vintage Windstone. It was something found when cleaning out the warehouse.
Well, hopefully it’s as high as she would be willing to part with it!
Don’t forget the people who may want it that aren’t on the forum.
Inkheart and Inkspell were translated! Chessie read Inkheart in German…took her a while, but she did it! She was able to tell me differences in the name, like how Magic tongue became Silvertongue in the English version.
The person who read Inkheart was not so good. Blegh.
When it comes to audiobooks, the reader can make or break the story. I’ve had several books ruined by readers, like American Gods and Inkheart, while others were a pure joy to listen to. My favorite readers are Brendon Fraser (who read Dragonrider and Inkspell by Cornelia Funke) and Frank Muller, who read several Stephen King books, and Tim Curry, who reads Garth Nix’s Abhorsen books.
I kinda live on audiobooks since I spend so much time doing art or doing detail work during the xmas rush. I have a subscription to Audible.com, its such a bargain!
I loathe how the dude who read Eragon did Sapphira’s voice. Awful! Ugly!
Yeah me too! I was out sick, came back and people said that’d I’d missed Arlla! !!!! I’da dragged my sorry carcass in had I known you were coming.
I don’t have any prints of my Windstone work as of yet, I have to talk to the boss people about that. And the star canine, Vulpecula…you mean http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/art/a/m/amberlyhill/new_1.jpg.html?
I don’t have prints of that, sorry. :<
It’s the sound you make when you open up a Windstone and find that it’s broken.
Or “One of a Kind”.
Oh oh the gold is so lovely!!
I hope you don’t mind me saying, but I think the feet would look really nice with the black extended down to the toes, except for the rim of fur around the pad. Does that make sense?
I understand it’s a hybrid so please, do what you want! It looks marvelous.

Blasphemy!
You haven’t seen the trashcans around here. >:}
You should have a scratch and dent sale! Even less than perfect Windstones deserve good homes. 😀
Well, it’s a quality control thing…Windstone doesn’t want flawed pieces coming right out of the factory.
It’s more fun to smash them, anyway. XD
My friend Cara has her really pretty PYO up on eBay…
