Regarding the Silver Hawk Griffin: He is NOT new. I won him in June of 2010, displayed him for two years and then sold him for $380 (shipped) in 2012 to forum members in Florida. I sent the COA with him at the time. And, no, I do not know who this seller is.
September 6, 2019 at 4:31 pm in reply to: A Large Collection Will Be For Sale Over The Coming Months #1579066Jamelah Quagga. It sold for $400.02. I have pictures of the Quagga and the Cherubino Okapi, but I don’t have time to post them right now. If nobody else does, I will post them later tonight.
I love blue (or teal) eyes and red eyes. I positively hate the yellow eyes that Windstone used to use so much, and they caused me to pass on many pieces.
This is my “wildlife silhouette” grab; he has an owl on his rear and a squirrel on his back shoulder. His face is dark aqua, his body a very dark teal, and his tail and front legs are a very dark purple/blue. He looks rather blue in his pictures, but he is definitely teal. He is for sale or trade for another cougar, preferably one with some type of spots or a blue-eye fire cat, but will look at others.
Thanks, everyone. He is the only tiger I got out of five grabs. I liked him, but I ended up with way too many. I held onto him trying to decide about keeping him but finally decided to let him go. He was sold within five minutes to someone who most definitely does want him, so I made the right decision.
This is the fantasy silhouette cougar I received today. He’s pretty, but he is much too quiet for me.
I am open to trades from both the Fantasy batch and the Fire Cats. I am looking for one of the two Fire Cats with blue eyes but would look at others too. He is also for sale if I don’t find a trade.
Mine came just as I was leaving for a doctor’s appointment. We all know doctors are never on time, so I rushed to open them before I left.
My first choice in the individuals was “Spiffy Spots” but I wasn’t home when they hit the store. I was able to get a distant second choice though, Bird Bath. His coloring is considerably deeper, richer, darker, in person. He is absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t be happier with him. If I had known how gorgeous he really is, he probably would have been my first choice. Hopefully everyone else will be happily surprised too.
I am not an IT person, but it seems like it works like being put on hold for a telephone call and being told your call will be taken in the order it was received. As people kick an item out of their carts, you move up AS LONG AS you keep your cart open. Once you close that cart out, you go to the end of the line.
Since items can be held up to 45 minutes, you need to be patient and keep trying to pay.
Congrats, Mary. I’m glad you got finally got through.
Mary: I put a giraffe into my cart and then added a fantasy. I IMMEDIATELY tried to pay for them and was told there was an error in my cart; the giraffe was not available even though it showed in my cart. I waited maybe two minutes and again tried to pay. That time it went through for both of them.
Keep that cart as long as possible, and keep trying to pay. You might get through, as I did. If not, at least the fantasy cougars are still available if you have to start over.
Yes, you recall correctly. I was able to get Bird Bath after it jumped out of someone’s cart.
Ann, were you already logged in before adding a cougar to the cart? I have had the “dropping out of the cart in mid payment” happen in the past, and it seemed to be caused by putting an item in the cart and then trying to log in during the payment process. Since I am now careful to log in ahead of an anticipated release, I haven’t had the problem.
Did anyone else notice that there is no limit on this Grab Bag?
