You are right; your camera is “evil.” The pictures certainly do not do this lovely piece justice. Her coat is actually lighter and her face more of a dark charcoal than blackish. She is pretty in the pictures, but she is stunning in person. The Marbled Tiger Unicorn is a beauty, but the Striped Back Dun is definitely more eye catching. Maybe even my favorite. π
Oooh! I like that lovely pattern on the first one.
so i am having fun making a non existing color pattern that still looks believable and natural with more natural tones
And you do it so well! You paint an animal that does not exist and make it look real. Quite a feat.
I have a lot of disjointed thoughts in no particular order: This is really nice of you; it would be so much easier to pitch all these boxes. This will be an awful lot of work sorting, matching to “want” lists, finding the right size mailing boxes, packing, emailing, addressing, hauling off to be mailed, etc. You must have more Windstones than the Windstone Store. Yes, you do have an awesome granddaughter; her boyfriend is no slouch either. I wonder how many boxes you would have if they had all been saved. Don’t forget to factor in the cost of packaging tape and any large boxes you might buy into the shipping charges. It would be interesting to see that room of boxes. I would like to see all the Windstones that actually came in the now empty boxes. I can’t believe the huge amount of work you are willingly taking on, in some cases for complete strangers. Your awesome granddaughter has an awesome grandmother.
The Marbled Tiger Unicorn already has the darker tail and body; the Dun is a lighter version. They both have wonderful striping patterns and dark faces. π I love those dark faces, π but particularly on this one. The Marbled has a darker overall look, so the dark face blends in more. On this one, the lighter body really sets off that dark face and makes it even more striking. The entire piece is lovely, but that dark face really hooks me. Love your work, Koishii!
Sent a PM to you.
SOMEONE WANTS HIM, AND I ASSUME HE WILL SHORTLY HAVE A HOME!
I came across a store that still has a Peacock Scratcher for $131 plus shipping. She takes only money orders or checks for phone orders. I just received a Peacock Fledgling from her, and it arrived in its box, with tag, in perfect condition, and was double boxed.
If you have been looking for one to add to your personal collection, I will be happy to give the store info. π
And if you did not get that BIN, one just went up on eBay for auction. π
Beautiful! I am happy to see a unicorn painted as a fantasy piece. π
How about posting pictures of your other two PYO unicorns now that you know how to do pictures? π
Sent a pm about Black Rainbow Muse.
Are all the pieces in your online gallery for sale, some of them, or just this one? π
I was not sure if the pictures were for our viewing pleasure only; but if they are for sale, I see lots I would love to have. :hi:Has anyone heard from PaperCut? I pm’d her on March 6 and have not had a reply; nor has her posting been updated. She said it might be a few weeks, but it has now been a month and I am wondering if she has decided not to sell. Does anyone know anything at all?
I was lucky enough to get one and can’t wait to see her. She is for ME. I love purple, and this is the first color Windstone has had in a long time that I just “had to have.” If I get something and do not like it, or get tired of it, or need the space, I will sell it. There are no Windstone stores anywhere near me, so I cannot see anything before buying. I hope those who bought only to sell just did not think about those unable to get one, not that they just did not care.
Hello: Do you possibly have the Rainbow Fledgling or Rainbow Hatching Emperor and want to sell?
