I’m enjoying what I’m seeing wow! I feel my box was nothing compared to these 😄After finding that beautiful gargoyle griffin with the nest of eggs on ebay I am squeaking for a new variation of that sculpt or a recasting of the original in limited edition copper patina or something similar. 🙂
I’m bummed to hear the issues over the sun and moon dragons! My emerald sun is one of my faves. That new PYO is cute though. I may have to get one even if I don’t paint it! ;D
I think I am all set with spectral dragons in colors I like, unless something new comes up with test paints on eBay. I got my pink. I got my white. I got my pastel rainbow, which is so lovely. Maybe more single-color pastels will be made, or maybe I can get my paws on this “blue ice.” He’s FABULOUS!
I agree what a lovely color scheme that is ! I have the spectral in shell pink and that is fast becoming one of my favorite colors.
Oh ok. I know they are fairly small but it’s been a while since I have seen any adult griffins. Well, onto ebay then! 🙂
OMG the PICTURE of the rainbow collection…so colorful it hurts the eyes! LOL For me with so many lovely colors I get what catches my eye. Black gold is real nice to me and I just ordered a hatcher. Comsidering another piece like a curlie in that or the MK.
But nope not interested in complete collections unless a color REALLY makes me drool. Shell pink is getting there… and so is glacier if it ever becomes limited production for more sculpts.

Here is the dragon mold that Bodine mentioned. The seller is bwthynbach; I skimmed through the feedback to see what other dragons they sold and only found two. Neither was a Windstone (though one looked similar to Purplecat’s ceramic piece, at first glance!) but I strongly suspect that they don’t own the rights to most of the sculptures they’ve made molds of…

Holy what a direct ripoff!!! I hope the get sued stuff like that REALLY ticks me off. NO ONE can ever match Melody’s work! They have to copy because they obviously can’t. Pathetic.I like your idea, pipsxlch, that the SK is the Empress! And now I guess we know her secret she’s keeping! 😀 I still dream of a King Dragon happening one day… On the other side of the Hatcher/Adult divide, I just realized that we’ve never had an Oriental hatcher of any kind, not even as a teaser or sketch! I’d love to see that come about one day. I feel like Oriental eggs could be a little different than the Western hatchers we’ve seen so far – more leathery/snakelike, to fit the Oriental’s body type? Maybe the baby Oriental has an ‘egg tooth’ on its nose, to help tear through that tough shell? It’d be neat to have another hatcher but of a really different style!
Whoa neat idea for the hatching Orientals! But they should hatch out of PEARLS, or eggs that look like pearls, since most asian dragons hold wisdom pearls or something like that. Just my own idea though 😉
We also need hatching griffin chicks!
I would also like to squeak for some ‘catch-up’ releases, such as all the sculpts that never received a release in Lavender Pearl being offered in that scheme, etc. (For the completionists out there, myself included!)
Same here, same here. Mother coiled dragon got a pass with prismatic spring, and other colors. If the the coiled guy can it it, the mom can too.
Adding to this: Glacier! We only ever got Curlies in this color, I think, but I really like it and think that the rest of the dragon family deserves some chill, too! 🙂
I agree glacier is incredible that would look amazing on SK don’t you think? I know I really want that curlie!
TERRACOTTA, TERRACOTTA, TERRACOTTA! Melody if you do limited production of this I think many collectors would be happy. I love the riser and fledgling and I really want to also get my hands on a lap, male, and possibly emperor in this color. Would be so awesome! And the SK looks AMAZING in that color! SQUEAK!
