Very nice! I like the soft feeling. Did you use acrylics or watercolors? The blending is soft enough it looks like it could be watercolor or even tea stain.
I also was looking at doing a quagga lionfish! Kind of inspired by Quigga the Quagga (a carousel ‘horse’ for a carousel being built in Albany, Oregon) and know of at least one other forum member who had the same idea of a quagga inspired hippocampus. I can’t wait to see everyone’s take on it. 🙂
While there were a few bright spots, like my trip to Europe meeting a couple of friends and forum members, finishing the class sequence I was completing, and some random moments here and there, 2015 was long, hard, tiring, trying and the last couple of months ended pretty badly for me, but at least it is over. Not really a specific resolution per say, but I’m going to go with this from Neil Gaiman from about 15 years ago for my 2016:
“May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”
I also plan to pass my CCNA and start working on my CCNP exams, find a better job with less stress, learn how to use my DSLR properly, reconnect and visit with a few more friends this year, and take a bit more time for and better care of me in 2016.

We are waiting on 3 ornaments that have not made it to their destinations (the postal services in CA and the US are all messed up this year with horrible delays, tracking issues, and lack of scanning items). At least one other ornament has been received, but the recipient has been traveling and hasn’t had a chance to post and will post once they are home again. Everyone got their ornaments out in plenty of time for everyone to receive, so this appears to be solely on the postal service and not a reflection of the wonderful participants. Like the weather this year, this is a wild holiday for sure!

I did take some photos before she was sent on her way. I can post them up if you would like. I saw your ‘Wishlist’ mentioned liking British chocolate, so thought I would include that since the pyo was a bit late on getting out (and I seem to have an over abundance of chocolate at the moment).
A rather late posting, but this is the cute little leopard gecko morph inspired dragon I received from MandBsMom over a week ago! His name is Firestorm. He has a siam (red) colored stone and the eyes are from Dreaming Tree Studio. I pretty much left it to artist choice based on a nature theme. The antiquing doesn’t show up as well in photos, but it is indeed there. Thank you again! 😀

I take that back, Pam says we didn’t keep copies of the regular coas for non-ebay pieces.. I don’t know if it had a drawing, or just a signature on it. I just don’t remember!

The Brown hatching royalty (the hatching Emperor, hatching Empress, and hatching Kinglet), were all signed by Melody and came with a COA.
I was pretty sick with a sinus/chest cold all last week and through the weekend (I did get from the doctor last week, so it is going away), so mine is just shipping today. My Dad is being nice and mailing it out for me today, so I can stay out of the cool, damp air outside for another day or two. It should arrive in a few days, and I hope the recipient likes their gifts! ^_^
EDIT: Box is on its way! It should arrive in a few days and my recipient should be receiving an e-gift card today in their email. 😉

Mine will go out end of the week. Got myself run down with a nasty cold. I just need to finish packing things up and drop at the post office when I’m not quite as sick. Means I get being sick out of the way before the holidays, right?
