She looks awesome Maddy. Are her eyes inset? They look different than your usual ones. I love the painting on her face, she’s gorgeous. You might consider auctioning her, or taking offers, or something similar. 🙂

I’m all for palominos and buckskins as production unicorns. I would think that anything with spots(appys, pintos etc) or complicated markings(sabino, bald face) would be too much for production.
I dunno, the black unicorns had the splash of white on their noses, I love that. Any palomino, buckskin, or grulla would look way nicer with some face white or leg white. On palominos it would be easy to do leg white since they don’t have the dark on their knees like bays do 🙂
Buckskin or Prewalski’s horses (something like and sandy with black hair) would be so amazing for production, I’d love to see gothic unicorns like that too.
And pegasi too. I really don’t like the rainbow wings on the black pegasus family so would love something different, palomino or buckskin for sure. (and pintaloosa for ebay!)
I think pegasus family would be even more convenient to do without the horn issues…which reminds me, has anyone heard anything about the horn issues recently? I’m assuming the varnish male on ebay recently had an old horn from somewhere so I don’t want to get my hopes up 😛
My favourites were Luna, Taryn, Sunset, and Kelpie as far as bright colours. I’m sure with everyone wanting matching sets you guys could make bank on these guys 😛
I’d love matching parents for the non-fantasy grab bags though! Bay blanket appaloosas, palomino appaloosas, pintaloosa (<3!!), more pangare, etc.
I’d love to see some bay appaloosas similar to banter, especially the blanket ones like Adagio and Cardamom. I’m sure people would be all over an orange and blue calicoloosa male or mother unicorn though.
Amanda if it becomes an issue with the seller you should make a new thread so more people see it, that way people know what they’re dealing with if they bid on her items.
SUCKS that that happened, poor nightshade almost had a mate 🙁 If I end up with another peacock mother I’ll keep you in mind 🙂
I dunno, I think palominos would be great for the store (or grulla restock), pintaloosa is really complicated.
If you guys do restock grullas I would looooveee if they had white on their legs and faces. Socks and blazes or whatever you call them. 😀
I’m new to the forum generally, and joined after you stopped being super active here, and from what I read (like what drag0n posted, I think Jennifer may have posted on another thread) the feeling I got was you were busy and hadn’t been online. I never got the impression you were like, a scammer or anything like that from what others said. And my impression wasn’t biased since like I said I never used the forum around when you did.
I think all they were saying at the time was a general warning, a heads up, in case people with new stuff to repair were thinking of contacting you, there probably wasn’t much point. And like you said, you’re busy with current repairs anyway. Drag0n’s last comment was posted in July… so if the OP had emailed you in July to do the repair you wouldn’t have been able to.
If you have an issue with someone on a forum, I don’t care what it is, you DO NOT post it publically! You take it up with them.
Not necessarily for you, but I think in general I disagree with this. I think lately there have been a couple people (all the grab bag unicorn craziness) who have intentionally been scamming people to get items for free and I do think in these cases warning others is warranted. In some cases too it might be that they aren’t sure how to contact you and post to see if others have heard from you. But in general if a member has ripped someone off I’d want to know. Again, not saying this applies to your case at all, I just think there are cases when posting an issue publicly is the best thing.
I don’t think it matters much, I think you have a great reputation on here for fixing stuff and you’ve obviously been finishing repairs and people are getting their windstones back now. So whatever people thought months ago, you’re proving now that you’re trustworthy. I know it’s frustrating to read comments like that but you’re doing the right things, so keep doing that and you’ll be fine 🙂
Hope I’m not trying to come off confrontational or anything, just throwing my 2 cents in there! I have a couple things you’ve repaired (and one repaint) that I acquired through others, so it’s nice to see you back on here 🙂
I just assumed that John, Pam or whoever else from windstone would handle issues as they arose. This forum is pretty small so I don’t think being without one dedicated moderator would be a huge issue (though we of course all will miss Jennifer!)

As for the feedback thing, sellers cannot leave buyers negative or neutral feedback. And, ebay has a policy that you aren’t allowed to leave a “false positive” or a positive feedback with negative comments, so if the seller does this you can get ebay to remove it. Soooo, if you want to leave them a negative, go ahead since they can’t retaliate.
I like the top one a lot! but I think it would be better if you had a square or horizontally oriented photo since it would better fit the calendar. I know it’s an upright sculpture though 🙂
